Balancing is not done on cards but on decks. Rogues are known to have obscenely powerful cards like Shadowstep but the decks might be mediocre because what are you going to Shadowstep if you didn’t get it yet?

Also Rogues are often rewarding high APM which is the true reason the top 50 of legend loves rogue.

It’s not for 2. You need another card for that. You also need another card for the destroy effect.

So another caveat for you setting this card up to be “super op”…
You need to play 2 cards (one of which should be prep for it to cost 2), and the enemy player has to have a board of ONE creature in order to be a selective removal.

Oh no… a good card is in every deck of a certain class? Better get rid of it!

Dude not only have you not come up with any reasons why this card should be nerfed or banned… but you can’t even present it honestly.

Everyone who hates on prep assumes rogue has unlimited copies of it to use on every spell and doesnt have to use a card slot in their deck on it.

Preparation always has been a broken card, and that’s what enables this combo. Preparation and shadowstep are the reason you will always find a Rogue deck in top ranks.

Anything else they print is just weaker than other classes would get because of those two (preparation makes spells broken, shadowstep makes minions broken).

Notice how when a Paladin or Warrior card gets played in every deck, it gets nerfed out of the game? But it never happens to Rogue.

You all are forgetting the 2/1 combo reducer and foxy fraud and what about the three cost coin into dubious, cant forget that one. Or the three card prep, 1/1 mini, into zero cost dubious

As soon as you play rogue you will find yourself brick mulliganing with double prep + double step and no other cards

This is why I don’t play Rogue much anymore despite being my favorite class, it’s either prep+shadowstep opening hand, or all high cost cards
