Hi, when you play dryscale deputy (the next time you draw a spell, gain a copy of it) and then a forged embrace of nature, it only gives the first card you draw both choose one effects & the copy does not have both effects.
This is bugged based on the text on the cards, both the card drawn and the copy should have both choose one effects as it is a copy of the card you draw.
You first draw a chose one card, then enchant it to have both effects combined.
It is not drawn with both effect combined.
The copy is made as soon as it is drawn, so before it got enchanted.
‘Forged: Draw a choose one card. It has both effects combined’
Therefore the copy should be a copy of that surely? Regardless of why it happens, this is wrong given the wording on the cards.
The next time you draw a spell, get a copy of it.
Draw a choose one card. It has both effects combined
- Draw a choose one card card (A)
- Copy it (B)
- (A) has both effects combined
Embrace of nature does not read “Combine the effects of a chose one card in your deck, then draw it”. If it did, it would be drawn as already combined and therefore be copied combined.
As the card is written it is a matter of interpretation, but as it is, you first draw a card, then it is enchanted.
The copy is made directly after the draw, not after the resolution of the card effect.
dry scale deputy applies first thats why it happens
same with the new hagatha the spell gets copied first mthen the original is transformed by hagatha intoa slime
I guess that makes sense.
thanks for the replies!
