Interesting idea. Good for the slower Druid decks with armor and sustainability. Token Druid can’t afford to be inefficient with mana.

Hopefully they have some support for ramp and Big Druid. Otherwise… Jungle Giants 2.0.

End four turns with any unspent mana, not without spending mana. If you float 1 mana, it still counts.

And the reward really isn’t that drastically strong.

Wardruid Loti will finally get her chance to shine, though. Can’t wait to see her multiform.

Ummm… no? Any unspent mana for 2x Choose One isn’t breaking. This reminds me of Druid’s DK in that degree. It is a good Quest but you won’t play around to unlock it quickly (unless Druid gets an amazing AoE spell) but it will provides consistent solid value.

Seems decent just not sure if Druid can afford a longer-term deck plan right now… new cards will impact this greatly obviously.

Are you sure? Unspent to me reads, “don’t spend any mana” they should have chose a different word. Sounds even more busted.

You say that because the only effect we had like that was “fandral” Fandral was still run in like 60 percent of druid decks even thought he would probably die in a turn or two simply because the sheer tempo he could bring, even at 4 mana.
Not to mention this is guaranteed to be turn 1.

i wonder if both quests can be played at the same time. Not that it would be any good, just curious

Do we know if it will be one for each class or just a few here and there?

I doubt it’s busted. I see it as some kind of potential Heal Druid support. The deck is going to need more than Lucentbark to be successful, and this would combo well both with spells like Crystal Power and Lifeweaver’s ability to generate more of such spells, especially if they add even more choose ones.

It isn’t that hard to pull off. Will have to see how broken we can make it. Hard to judge on paper alone as there are too many variables. Like for example if you can Biology Project turn 1 and the ramp you give your opponent ends up not mattering you can get this off on turn 4.

How does crystal power even work with this? It’s deal 2 damage to a minion or restore 5 health. I don’t remember any cards that retarget so I’m guessing it would go on the same target.

It says “any unspent mana” not “all unspent mana.”

The text version of the announcement says “No matter if they’re working to further the League of E.V.I.L.’s nefarious goals, or in cahoots with Reno’s ramshackle rapscallions to dismantle those despicable evil-doers, every adventurer worth their sand needs a Quest…” So that suggests that every class is going to get one.

Get the passive, cast crystal power with Lifeweaver up. Get both effects, possibly rezzing Lucentbark and/or activating Crystal Stag whole generating another card from lifeweaver, possibly another Choose One that can benefit from it.

The value stacks up, but not really in a busted way IMO. Heal Druid is not going to be a “Lucentbark and turtle up” deck.
