Druid and mage are giving me a massive headache

Both classes feel awful to play against in wild right now. They have very safe ways of reaching their late-game combos and you essentially need the perfect aggro deck to beat them (or to somehow out-value them, but good luck against a mage with 3+ turns). Not to mention that these decks are also extremely consistent. I know I’m some random platinum player, but does anyone else feel the same way? If anything I just wanted to vent a little.

Everything is a mess

Don’t play wild. It is only going to get worse.

I feel the same, especially about Druid. Getting really sick of them…

Shaman with Shudder should work well with cards like Dirty Rat, Mutanus or Loatheb and Shudder just destroys them with repeating his stuff all again.

Wild is called wild for a reason and it’s fun.

The only fun thing about wild is how many synergies there are that weren’t designed to exist together. Moving from one blowout to the next, always for the highroll. When you aren’t the one highrolling, it is not fun.

Play diffrent decks problem solved there are many decks out there that counter them. I promise you. Im countering np. Yes you can get bad draw and it can be annoying but they both far from unbeatable if you actualy try and swap things up.

Only you never get to play Shudder because they don’t drop any minions and just keep shuffling Jades so that you can’t make a play and they mill all your cards…

Or even worse, they play Mecha’thun and draw their whole deck and kill you on turn 5.

i havent heard of a new mechathun deck how are they doing it now ?
i was told the last viable one was killed by the balance patch

Mecha’thun Warlock hasn’t really been viable for a while, but the Cataclym nerf completely destroyed the deck as I knew it. Mecha’thun Druid looks kinda powerful thanks to Guff and Celestial Alignment

Fully agree. Both the infinite turns Mage and the Druid “draw forever + jade/infinite armor” are not at all fun to play against. In a game against an infinite mage deck a couple days ago, the opponent had 5 turns in a row with the “take another turn” card before beating me… There was no way for me to interact with the cards they played, no way for me to prevent them playing cards, no way for me to overcome their win condition… It’s not good game design and it’s not fun gameplay. Proper design would mean that every reasonably well designed deck would have a chance against any other deck depending on “skill of player” or “luck of card draw”. This is the way it was in original Hearthstone. Now it is 100% dependent on selecting the right deck and the match is essentially decided before it has even begun.

How??? havent seen this new on yet seems a lot changed in wild

Druid is angering me, myself, and vice versa.

They play Grand Magister Rommath and then Potion of Illusion.

Alexstrasza should delete armor.

that can be easy to pull getting a generated potion of illusion isnt easy you need it on your starting hand

Druids are a headache with their mana cheating/armor stack. Mage is an auto concede at this point.

I made some adjustments to my deck and have been able to thrash a few Druids. I feel like I’m tolerating the other matches just to get to the Druids in hopes of thrashing more of them, lol. This is not healthy game play!

Just took down another Druid playing Dew Process and Jade Idol!!!

My Skulking Geist took out the Idols!

I’ve revamped my deck with low cost cards including damage spells, so I kept emptying my hand until I could play infinite Shudderwocks.

Baleful Banker’s battlecry shuffled some Shudderwocks into my deck each turn so I wouldn’t fatigue!

Grumble’s battlecry popped 1 mana copies of Shudderwock back into my hand each turn!

Astalor Flamebringer’s battlecry did loads of damage with each Shudderwock!

On the final turn, I had full health and loads of armor, and he had…an empty deck, an empty hand, and an empty board…as my Shudderwock delivered the final blows with the Flamebringer damage!

Very satisfying!!!
