Hearthstone balance changes, Battlegrounds updates, and bug fixes await in Patch 33.2.2!
Hoping next patch has some performance and reliability improvements!
Balance changes? What balance changes? Slightly adjusting 2 cards isn’t a balance change
Thank you for waiting until after I bought both pre-orders to tell me that you were intentionally making quests bad. I am done spending money on this game.
that’s precisely what it is
balance change =/= reaching perfect equilibrium
You bought the pre-orders while being well aware of what the cards looked like. You got what you bought so what does it change ?
It changes my opinion of the company. I used to be a whale. No longer.
How so ? You haven’t been misslead on the product.
Not only that but they announced in early 2025 that they aim to slow down the pace of the game, which implies releasing weaker expansions until the rotation kicks in.
My assumption was that they were erring on the side of caution. Then I was told they intentionally sold me mediocre product. I’m not claiming fraud or anything. I’m just unhappy and expressing my displeasure with my wallet.
Are you work for blizzard or trolling? It’s the worst expansion since I don’t remember. The quest and the entire set are trash. Only aggro or degenerate decks around. If they want to bring down the power of the cards in standards, they have to nerfs the other millions of cards in standard from previous other sets. We can’t wait a year to see the power level go down after the rotation, we want to have fun now… Immediately!!!
ok kid
Why so dismissive? Sure it could have been phrased better but it’s a valid opinion.
Things like this is why I don’t spend money on HS, I just hoard gold before an expansion release and buy packs in bulk when it releases, same with mini-sets.
I reply with the same energy
Unless you think “Are you work for blizzard or trolling?” is not dismissive too
I don’t share their opinion so their only conclusion is that I’m either trolling or paid, they are the one trying to invalidate my opinion.
If you want arguments, I don’t think massively nerfing all the cards people have paid for is any better than what you are disappointed with. You bought what was announced and are disappointed that it was not going to positively change. That’s better than buying what is announced for it to be massively negatively changed in the future.
Lots of players accuse you of working for/paid by Blizzard if you don’t agree that X card/deck isn’t broken, or matches aren’t rigged when really you just explained to them how they’re wrong
For someone who uses “kid” as a pejorative does it not strike you as odd that you sink to others’ level as a default?
That’s your perception
I’m using kid to point out their lack of patience
That’s a shortcut, that is all
matching energy is not aligning levels
Sure thing, boss.
Glad to see we’re on the same page
I try to be understanding. Especially online where lots of people are well-oiled hyperbole machines.
I like your mature wording.
I didn’t spend much money during my early years with Hearthstone. Most expansions were free-to-play for me. CCGs usually didn’t last long back then and balancing was normally terrible for the genre, save pay-to-win decks, so spending seemed wasteful.
Of recent, I pay for cheap sets and the rewards path, and paying for small things for my wife’s account, when she shows interest, gives a good feeling for supporting a game that has been well tended for over a decade.
I wouldn’t know what it feels like to be a whale of a spender at any game, so I cannot empathize your sense of involvement. Maybe after years of experiencing the free-to-play view you will gain a different perspective on Hearthstone. If it doesn’t feel worth the expense, there is no need to pay.
