Double Finley cancels out Mysterious Visitor's decrease

Note: this is easiest to reproduce after copying a deck with Tony since you can end up pulling a way to clone the Finley on the board or the opponent’s deck Finley.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Copy opponent’s cards (lots of ways so pick whatever you want)
  2. Discount cards with Mysterious Visitor
  3. Finley to swap your hand with the bottom of your deck
  4. Finley again to swap your hand back with the bottom of your deck

Result: you will get the original set of copied cards back but they will be their regular cost instead of the discounted cost.

This is not a bug.

Cards can be buffed and discounted while they are in your hand and also still inside the deck and they will keep those changes until they are drawn.

However cards which were changed (discounted, etc…) will lose those changes if they are then put back inside the deck.

When a card moves “backwards” in the normal order of play (board to hand, hand to deck, etc.), it loses its buffs.

This is completely normal. It is not a bug. That is how the game works.
