I was playing against a rogue as a DH. I was attacking a 2 Cost minion with my DH, when the secret Bamboozled was cast. Therefore the 2 Cost minion was transformed into a 5 cost minion. In this case, imprisoned Altaen. I still attacked him although he was dormant and got 10 damage to my hero, while he didn’t get any damage. Is that supposed to be that way?
Probably not supposed to happen. I don’t think it’s possible to initiate an attack involving an untouchable minion (e.g. haven’t heard of similar anomalies with Duel or Wild Bloodstinger, but not 100% sure). So I don’t think it should be allowed to carry one out if an attack is initiated before the minion goes into that state. It should probably abort, the same way it does if one of the combatants is dead.
I was just coming to report the same issue. Attacked into a large Eddie to let it be bamboozled into a 6 drop that was certainly going to be smaller, but instead it became a 6 drop dormant Antaen that I face tanked for 10. But of course because it’s dormant it takes no damage. Seems like in these instances the attack should cancel.
