So, after being bored to death of playing Protoss Druid I decided to try out Highlander Druid. When I first saw the card I was like 'oh damn you destroy one of your opponent’s mana crystals … seems pretty OP … ’ Then I realized what it fully does. It also GIVES YOU that extra mana crystal. It’s like a double ramp up in a single play + you get a 4/5 minion on the board.
This card is not okay. Needs to go or get nerfed to oblivion (maybe make it cost 8 or 9 mana so the disruption doesn’t matter THAT much in late game ==> Although you could argue it still matters cause Highlander Druid goes to 15 mana anyways).

It was nerfed. There was a time where you could be at 10 mana while your opponent was stuck at 4 mana.

Well, I was at 12 mana and my opponent at 5 mana after playing it twice and having played other mana ramp cards.

when he was released all people say its a bad card, then in some times the card go from uselles to broken and nerf to 7

You’re months behind on your observations and complaints. This card was nerfed due to all the reasons you already described months ago. It was only reverted for wild and for this week in standard. You won’t see it again after the expansion launches unless you play wild.

What’s truly epic for me in this thread is the fact that your post is almost a literal copy-paste from the one I made before it got nerfed xDDDDD
I also said simply increasing the cost for 1 mana wouldn’t do it, and have provided the detailed calculation proving it
Although, it turns out I was (at least partly) wrong, since it never did see play costing 7 - but, that could be blamed on other nerfs, as well

Shhh xD It’s all made-up anyway, so let me enjoy my own lore xDD I haven’t played Warcraft games nearly as enough as would be needed to fall in love or learn anything from its lore, so…

I don’t get why the card then gets reverted back for a week. Makes absolutely no sense to me and for sure confusing as hell. I’ve been playing every day for the past 2 months and never saw an in-game update or message pop up explaining all this.
Free beta testing for Wild by Standard players. Some say Standard players want to see that mess. I think a few do but most of them don’t want the mess.
