It won’t register for credit on Heavy Weights.
I played it four times, zero credits. Played warlock Sargeras and completed the quest.
I reported in bug forum, but thought some people might want to know to not waste their time because it doesn’t count as a titan for quest completion.

While v-07-tr-on is technically not a titan, but a robot created to match the titans’ power, I still think he should register for credit on Heavy Weights. Simply because not all players are familiar with w.o.w. lore.
And if they change him to award credit on Heavy Weights, I don’t think there will be many people who will report it in the bug forums saying: " v-07-tr-on is bugged because its registering credit on Heavy Weights when he shouldn’t because he’s not a titan".
The lore isn’t the relevant issue, though. Functionally and in the reveal it’s a titan. When you sort your collection by titans, it’s a titan.
It’s a programming bug that it’s not recognized.
I’m guessing the one who created the quest programmed it so that it checks if the minion played has the word “Titan” in its description. And the one who created v-07-tr-on wanted to make it a little funny by giving it the word “T1t4n”. And that silly joke messed up the quest program.
Oh well, maybe they’ll fix it. Or maybe they won’t because it’s not a big deal or because they want players to buy more packs and craft other Titans. So yeah, up to Blizzard to decide.
It just sucks that the only other titan I opened in packs is Sargeras, which is a good titan and all but I don’t own nearly enough warlock cards to make that deck.
Voltron not counting is stupid, rogue doesn’t have a titan that counts for the quest at all.
I did it with sargeras in wild, where I meme, so it wasn’t bad. I just made the best stall deck I could come up with. I actually won every game I played the titan, though.
I had to do the quest before Wednesday in the Tavrn Brawl because I didn´t have single Titan in my collection. I just pulled my first one yesterday (the worst one - Warrior - meh…).
And I agree with Andrei´s explanation… it is probably bugged because of messed up keyword on Voltron…
Worse it not even being able to play the titan in the first place. Whether you don’t draw him, or the game ends before playable. And I don’t own Symphony to discount him.
Its not a Titan its a T1T4N
it absolutely IS a big deal, the fact that you would even say that is absurd. it is the Rogue’s titan card regardless of how “silly” it may be written. i have this same issue & its the only titan card i’ve gotten in all the packs ive opened & the event quest chain requires a titan to be played at step 2 for a significant amount of gems not to mention being able to progress the quest chain. For whatever reason V-07-tr-on registered & counted the 1st time i played it & hasnt any of the 10 times since.
Does it not have the ability to attack after being summoned along with having 3 abilities to choose from once it is summoned?
Then it isnt a Titan.
Edit: they made another card named Voltron? This isnt the one from the effect of having 3 mechs on the field at start of turn? Super confusing.

Went and saw the version of Voltron thats being complained about. I dont see how one would assume that it would or even could count towards the quest since it is very clearly a T1T4N and not a TITAN. Clever and sneaky are the traits of the Rogue Class and so while it can pass as a Titan using my definition I stated above, it wouldn’t pass the muster for authentic TITAN-hood by its disguise and guile of being a T1T4N instead.
No issue here. Game is working as intended by my view on it. You may not like it or only have that one only for Titan you can play, which is not fortunate for you, but there is a way around that with the Tavern Brawl still available to play any class and their TITAN.
Except it counts as a titan for the “Play 10 Titans” weekly quest, just not the special event quest.

I didnt get a play 10 titans quest. This is a new thing I havent seen.
I gotta ask, do you make it a point to be as ignorant as possible about everything you do, or just Hearthstone?
Because it blows my mind how assertive you are despite how little you seem to understand this game, and how poor your ability to remember cards is.
I can be confident with what information I do have in front of me. If I lack all info that may be my fault, it may not be. I dont make it a point to know everything there is before speaking. I dont fear being wrong about something but I will interpret something fairly obvious that a T1T4N =/= TITAN. If its counting for one quest and not another, I’d personally argue that it shouldnt be counted for either quest. I only ever had the one quest for playing a TITAN I never got 2 different ones. So not knowing about there being a 2nd quest can hardly be held against me as everyone has different quests at any given moment. Ive had the use 12 weapons weekly for 2 weeks now, but Im sure others havent.
also if you do a collection search for ‘TITAN’ it will display properly, as it should, because it IS the rogue’s TITAN card.
You really talk like a person who knows the game, but you barely understand it…much like when you explained how Fate Splitter is not bugged and now blizzard fixed the bug…
