So I played a game of battleground for the first time this year because of the event.
Doesn’t it suck?
I feel like 97% of minions have nothing to do with what I’m trying to do.
Everything is so tribalistic and hyper-specific.

That was my impression when I tried for the event quest.
I just don’t have the patience or the energy to spend THAT much time on a string of consistent losses.
Just having to play this for the event alone is a waste of my time. They should stop shoving this in our throat lol. We don’t play it for a reason.
We get it, you personally hate Battlegrounds, as you show in every post. You dont represent everyone however, many love the mode. If they didnt, they wouldnt keep monetizing it to this extent, as production cost would outvalue income.
Events shuffle around between various modes, not specific to BGs. They are like that to incentivize people to try other modes. Nobody is forcing you to do anything. Thats your addiction speaking.

I thought maybe the Quests, which I wasn’t a huge fan of during their original debut, would mix things up and perhaps help with some of the high roll-y nature of the current meta. I am disappointed to say not only does it not, but it seems to increase the need to high roll and then rewards it more than ever.
It’s fun to watch, but it’s sort of a pain to play depending what you and your opponent’s states are by turn 6/7.
yes it sucks. I stopped playing entirely when it no longer gave any reward useful in Hearthstone proper. So now they are forcing us to play for a few days at least, to get those card packs. Enjoy the few extra players while it lasts…
