Does anyone else get mad even when they win?

I know I often do. Team 5 has systematically destroyed almost everything I liked about the game.
I only play because it is free for me, and it fills a space in my day.

There are definitely games where I’ve won, and was thoroughly winning for most of the match, that were near losses due to some broken interaction or insane RNG play. I usually don’t let it get to me, but I’ll admit I’ve won a few games where I’ve been pretty tilted afterwards.

No, I’m very happy if I manage to win a game.

Yes, mostly when I have to win with 5 or less HP because of the insanely stupid aggro decks…

You should stop doing something you hate so much. There are other free games.

Hearthstone is the best of the free games unfortunately. There are no other DCG’s I can play where I have the collection and currency that I do here.
And hate is a strong word.
I don’t hate the game itself.
But I will freely admit that I hate what the dev team has done to it.

sometimes i do. especially when the opponent was beaten 3 turns ago and refuses to concede. normally though i have no emotional response and hit play. maybe i’m getting jaded in my old age.

Hit me right in the feels man. I dont care if I agree or disagree with any other points you make Mal, but this? Oof.

Modern Hearthstone is sickening compared to what it used to be.

No one has to concede; if you’re winning, then win, & stop waiting for people to resign.

Perhaps, you just enjoy being angry …

The games win conditions come down to luck more often than not because of all the RNG that’s been added to HS and I’m one of those people that doesn’t really take a lot of joy in winning a game because I got lucky. I’m self-aware enough to know that I didn’t really do anything

But boy do I get pissed when I lose because of bad luck

Do you think, say, a Totem Shaman player like myself feels happy winning because I drew Bloodlust on time for 5 mana? Not really, because that’s just the luck of the draw. I know the next game my turn 2 and 3 draws are going to be both my copies of Bloodlust, and that’s just luck swinging the other way.

Sorry, different kind of luck I am sure. You probably mean discover, but I hope we’re on the same page that this is a card game. Even playing Classic HS you’ll be cursing at the warlock player who just top decked Doomguard for lethal.

lol…that’s fair

Exactly. The RNG is baked in. It doesn’t need any more

For me I hate druids winning with their dumb decks in Wild. Mill Druid, Jade Druid, or Armor Druid. I care less for DK decks.

it fills a space in your day?

Surely, it fills a void in our empty, meaningless, lives?

If HS is the only DCG you care to play, then don’t just stick to DCGs. Find games of other genres that are F2P.

You could even find another hobby outside of video games (and posting on the forums lol)

Variety is the spice of life.

What do the kids say these days? Touch grass? Am I using the term right?

the idea of raging about winning a game you choose to play is so ridiculous this has to be a lie

getting bored if the game too long without much happening because you were waiting for that one card to silence his taunts or have enough damage to win thats different ,i get it can happen

but raging over winning nope that too hard to beleive

This, I have no issues with a skill loss. RNG losses are despicable.

Winning has never made me mad honestly…. The only thing that makes me mad is when my opponent has answer after answer and still has half of their deck left … like what are the odds lol.
