Do something about wild hyper aggro

Wild is filled absolutely packed with pirate rogues and totem shaman. Its ridiculous to have 9/10 game be one of these 2 types. They seriously need to be nerfed. 4 turn games are not interesting, they are frustrating as all hell. Frustrated player don’t play games that Frustrate them.

You can Play Reno Pala against that. It’s Not a Hardcounter, but good enough.

If you Nerf Aggro, you will get a Questlock, Ignite-Mage, OTK/Combo whatever Meta :man_shrugging:

Totem shaman and Pirate rogue are a weird mix of the cheap budget aggro decks and also semi popularly botted wild decks.

While not a direct counter, if you think you might be facing a bot opponent, sometimes you can get one of those mysterious cards or the “Discover x, your opponent has to guess it too” cards against em, and it’ll 404 some of them right out of it.

Otherwise yeah, not much you can do. Totem shaman tends to like the dangerous totems hit every turn. The removal of the +1 att totem when their 4 totem limit was removed hit em though.

Pirate rogue is turbo aggro, aoe as normal can kinda handle both a bit or messing with a meta deck that can outclock or out handle em.

Ignite and quest is far preferable to hyper aggro. So are otks, employing disruption is pointless for aggro but not otk decks. There is no counterplay to aggro which is why its so annoying and frustrating to face. Death at turn 12 is preferable to death at turn 4

The real issue isn’t hyper aggro, it is that the algorithm and draw/mulligan give hyper aggro a 50% win rate, which means that it’s 50/50 whether the game decides your fate is a win or a loss. That is the real problem. So many times I will go against the pirate rogue and they have the dream curve and the dream draw turn after turn (because the game has already determined their win) and I will be given poop curve, poop mulligan, poop draw, and even if I somehow manage to make it “competitive” It doesn’t matter because I was already determined by the algorithm to lose that match. That is the real problem.

This is just flat stupid and ridiculous.

Every time you say something like this the world is poorer for it.

If you had the first clue how one makes a strong aggro deck you would understand that they always draw well because they’re made that way. Every single card is synergy with the rest of the deck or it’s cut.

There’s no magic involved.

If you honestly believe it’s rigged, then you should just quit.

I’m fully aware of this, you dolt. That is a part of why the decks function as they do, yes. I’m talking perfect dream vs poop, this is determined by the algorithm. Sometimes I get the perfect dream and they get the poop, with the exact same decks. This is not pure chance, or we would find ourselves somewhere in the 85% of the bell curve and not the outside 7.5%entages. This is because the algorithm is at work. Whether you believe this or not, matters not, and I also don’t care (except when you act to baselessly denigrate me)

Btw I pioneered one of the strongest hyper aggro decks in hearthstone history with Jeeves Mech Hunter, so please do be quiet about things you do not know.

No, it’s not.

This is you smoking copium.

You’re a legend in your mind!!

Sadly, I don’t think the rest of the group agrees with your self assessment.

I see how you are. Best of luck to you, I hope your head finds its way out of the sand eventually.

Death Knight counter these two decks very easily.

Especially Blood.

As soon as you win the board, they have lost the game.

In my opinion, countering Aggro ist much more easy, as countering Combo.

You can Build Decks wich perfome well against Aggro (but most of the time, you lose against Combo/ or Questlock etc. with this Decks).
Countering Combo or Quest is always way more luck, hitting Combopieces with Rat/Theotar or MutAnus.

Luck does play a part, but so does skill. Knowing what the opponent may have or want to play and being original with unique decks so your opponent is left guessing what you have and what you’re doing is a big bonus in matches with counterplay. But vs aggro its literally all face face face face face quick before you get a chance to stabilize and push back.
