The “nerf” they did to discovery for DKs is laughable when you have a Blood DK discovering Frost Rune cards or vice versa.
Even a young me playing Yu-Gi-Oh could look at this design and go, “yeah thats not fair whatsoever”. Why can they play these cards without the runes? Why is the rune system so… Asinine?
If anything, increase the cost by 1 for rare cards, 2 for epic, and 3 for legendary for you non set rune cards you discover.
And anyone playing DK seriously has to realize how broken their class is.

Purposefuly broken cards as a class identity is the worst idea I’ve ever heard and I’m baffled nobody brought it up during its design.
It makes even less sense when you consider that their way of balancing it is that only the control decks get to play the OP red control cards and only the aggro decks get to play the OP green aggro cards like no fudging ship I wouldnt run soulstealer in aggro even if I wanted to, dumbasses.
Its even more hilarious when i play against them as thief priest.
I see the cards they holding (same stuff ,every single time)
And basically beat them with their own overpowered creep.
Quite satisfying to pull 3 or 4 patchwork / mograine if i do say so myself
Or against FDK pulling multiple copies of “Fibia Tibia go go go” aka Corpse Pyro and Frostwyrm Fury
And no one can defend them anymore because they are the ban of the standard ladder climb. I’m glad they are smacking priests down a peg in wild, lord knows it’s needed, but I hope with this new expansion coming the do some sort of DK reshuffle on discovery potential or just fundamentally change the class, which I hope is the latter.
I still believe if your deck is pure Blood DK you shouldn’t be able to play or have an increased cost or a decreased effect on frost/unholy cards and vice versa.
