I can confirm that it works against the Zoo DK the same way, the sooner the better, there’s always a second one if needed
True, I was just being more dramatic while stating the same, because current rotation includes core cards + the previous two expansions, hence, their class cards this rotation are the best. It might even be a bit more precise than what I just quoted, because it includes the core cards (and I don’t know if there exists a rule they’re using to pick them out of the total pool, or how they do it)
Either way, it seems that its gonna take a few expansions to neutralize that advantage. Those two classes are to this rotation, what Shaman and Warlock were for the previous one, dare I say (Paladin is not counted here, because its situation remains the same throughout the whole period xD)
Hmm, I wouldn’t rush this far with conclusions. First of all, both decks are underwhelming. Drunk Pally is still the highest winrate Pally deck in top 1k (although its sample is 8x lower, so that’s not quite as convincing as I’d like it to sound, but still) and Loh Druid is 1 place above, and together they form the bottom of the positive winrate decks in top 1k, which according to my criteria means they’re “barely playable”.
Furthermore, the sheer number of aggro decks in the top 1k points to the meta still being in the stage of formation. They’re simply capitalizing on unoptimized decks. Give it time. It’s simply not possible that a meta as controlly as the previous one shifts this much due to ANY expansion, let alone some perceived as weak as this one.
It’s not in the realm of theoretical possibility.
The best my experience allows me to try and predict is that DK and DH both will be among the winners of this expansion, and I think their best decks will be slower, rather than faster, but most likely a bit faster than they were 5 days ago.
