Divine Shields is not divine fun

If this is true, it doesn’t make your pronouncements correct. And because your takes are so insipid, I don’t think it’s true.

Lies.

Why exaggerate the truth by an entire 10%? It’s a strong enough argument to say Paladin has the top decks in Standard currently.

No deck takes zero skill to play. There are low skill decks, but there aren’t zero skill decks.

Although Paladin is overpowered, it’s surprisingly unpopular. About one in ten Top Legend players are Paladin, and about one in six in Diamond 4-1 — and that’s combining all Paladin archetypes together. There’s no way Paladin is 90% of your games across a large sample size.

The thing I don’t get is, the evidence already shows that Paladin is OP. There’s no need to lie, the actual stats tell the story. So why get the facts so wrong?

Sure, why not? That’s the impression I’m getting from this thread. People are so upset about paladin that they just might want to tech specifically against them, other match ups be damned.

I think you’re the one who fails to understand that not every comment is about maximum no chill gotta beat every class gotta reach rank 1 legend etc

edit: oh and do note that you started this thread title about divine shield being “fun” or not. Since when has “fun” got to do with min maxing your win rates across the board?

Replace “win” with fun in my last post, lol. They’re practically interchangeable for the purpose of this case.

The fun that I will get from playing those cards against Paladin needs to be outweighed by the lack of fun it’s going to be to be stuck playing them against Control Warrior, Curse Warlock and every other deck when they will be pretty sad to play; because they’re a situational sort of fun.

You need to argue that the fun from each Paladin play is overwhelmingly so much more fun than every other time when they’re sad.

Oh, and let’s not forget about the limitations in fun because I couldn’t play decks with minions that have effects on the board (DR, taunt, etc) or cards that buff minions (since they will also be silenced).

I don’t think they are such compelling fun when I consider those factors.

I wasn’t just referring to “this case” but to the overall thread.

Your original post made no mention of considering your other match ups. You opened with a more general question on why people find DS fun.

I don’t need to argue anything. I was just making an observation. I’m not trying to convince or compel anyone to do it. People can make their own decisions whether they would make the trade off.
