Playing battlegrounds and noticed another player had this trinket. It says “Get a random Blood Elf. At the start of your turn, get another.”
They were playing Quilboar, so maybe it was supposed to say that? I took a screenshot, but can’t post links or upload pictures here. Why even have a hyperlink option if we can’t use it?
Most likely not a leak for a future tribe
A lot of unused tribes remain in the game code
If you go in the collection and search for things like Orc, Human, Elf… you will find the amalgams since they are codded to be of all types, including the unused ones (which may be the reason why amalgams will allow you to exceed the maximum of different tribes played during a game)
This has been discovered long ago, even before Mercenaries’ release and use of new tribes
Sure it’s a bug that the trinket talks about blood elves, maybe because at some point they messed up the text for quilboars because of blood gems.
