First of all, diamond Helya looks great (unlike the legendary hero, who is utter garbage in my eyes). But 50$ for a diamond card and 2 signature cards, that’s almost the cost of a triple A game. Even if they sell her later for 20$, I still won’t pay 20 $ for that (would have paid for Sargeras, but they chose this random keeper over the poster boy of this expansion)
Someone buying these things?
I personally would buy diamond cards and legendary heroes for something like 9,99$.
Just don’t buy it then.
What is the argument here?
My argument is people would probably buy more of these bundles if they didn’t overprice them so much.
I bought it because I missed both of the legendary signatures I wanted and I have been playing A LOT of plague DK. The way I justified it is that, in other card games, would I be willing to spend approx. $16.50 for a staple? I’ve spent way more than that on staples in other card games. That said, I also know what I’m getting and I probably wouldn’t if it were random unless it was product I could sell (such as when I buy cases or boxes of MTG or YGO sealed product).
So there is no chance of returns, the 2 signature cards are random, and I would very highly advise people not buy it. I went against my better judgment because I love the diamond Helya, but it is not worth the money. They really should give you a limited selection of signature cards to choose from if they don’t want you picking from the whole batch. If you got to choose I’d say maybe it’s objectively worth it (my decision aside), but as of right now I’d say avoid the bundle.
i really do not understand such high prices for everything. I think if they lower prices people would buy more and make more profit then now . Everything overpriced to oblivion.
They are probably trying to compete with magic and yu-gi-oh in terms of prices, they are forgetting one thing. You can actually buy the real cards for yu-gi-oh and magic if you want to.
how much does a diamond or signature card costs when isnt on a bundle ?
In a capitalist society, the right price is the price consumers are willing to pay.
Uh. Imagine if Blizzard had a monopoly on loaves of bread, and priced them at $50 per loaf, because they are Blizzard, even though it costs them virtually nothing to print them.
“Consumers” aren’t actually willing to pay that for bread.
The point made was that a lot more people would buy the bread if it was $5…
You can’t craft them
Replace bread with insulin and blizzard by sc@mbag big pharma, and you described American healthcare in a nutshell. Except people dies without insulin… in the richest country on earth no less.
No one has died of not having diamond card in hearthstone
Suddenly $20 for a diamond card not so bad, huh?
Last time I saw one it was 4000 gold (Lady Deathwhisper, and also other stand alone Diamond cards were for that price too in the shop.) To be honest about the this bundle tough… I think it is really disgusting they are selling a new tactic for a high price like that which can be beaten by only one card in a second… designers faild hard again in my opinion… because they forgot about Steamcleaner… which was created by them too and ruins the whole thing… This is the best proof… These developers have no idea what they are doing anymore… Players can feel they were robbed… however no one told them to buy this… they just advertise it in the game.
steamcleaner ?
did you notice not everyone is running it ?
I think it doesn’t matter… half of classes which I meet above D5 are using it… and that is enough to make it fail hard for any of them who makes it up there to reach Legend… unless they already have 10-11 bonus stars. “Have fun”.
i havent played that deck yet because im missing some epics but so far seems is etter to use the plagues to get out the giant ASAP
I didn’t buy this bundle when it was available in shop. Is there another way to get Diamond Helya?
