Nothing much to add, these are the two deck I meet at rank 1, and they are nearly unbeatable. So fun.
Diamond 1 experience was the same. Eh, if they design a class that draws their whole deck and AOEs, and hits face for 15+ damage a turn and bypasses taunt and can heal and has dangerous minions, I don’t see why people wouldn’t play it.
Because i am too proud lol
Yeah DH is too good. Shaman is a joke by comparison. I get that there can be some epic high roll hands with totems and evolves and I do have fun with it, but it’s equal or less to the number of times you get stuck with a dead hand and no way to take back the board and just lose pathetically.
DH flows so nearly seamlessly. Every card seems to synergize with each other and there’s so few, if any, synergy-only cards that are useless on their own. In Shaman that’s like half the deck.
Hunter is even more brutally consistent imo. Less power to swing the board than DH for sure, but absolutely relentless. Never seems to run out of steam anymore. The difference between DH and Hunter is hunter you can sacrifice your other matchups and tech directly against them with anti-weapon and secret cards. With DH running 4+ weapons and hoard pillager (sometimes) how is your 1 ooze going to help? If you stall, you die to 48+ damage il’gynoth combo from hand. If you rush, you risk them healing and wiping board in one fel swoop.
It wasn’t hard to figure out that DH would be dominant again looking at the cards pre-release. They just don’t get any gimicky RNG trash like other classes do.
