Devs: Every class gets 30 card slots except mage, they get 50+ a game

I get it.

Now can you please stop spamming the same topic every few days?

Uh, no one’s doing that.

You’re just commenting here to derail my thread.

I consider it spam because you’re not even talking about the topic.

sometimes is hard to tell which topic im reading because they are all the same the mods could merge all of them and nobody would be able to tell the difference

Yeah, it’s just you and a select few others that are real close buds.

You ā€˜like’ each others comments and are averse to any newcomer’s opinions.

I’ve noticed the trend on other people’s threads too.

The mods could merge you all together and no one could tell the difference.

mentioned hunter in this thread

you answered that post and created a new thread a few minutes later
and its OP is about hunter im pretty sure it wasnt a coincidence

That was in response to one of your forum pals.

For some reason, ya’ll have a knack for derailing the OP with completely irrelevant topics.

I only mentioned hunter because it’s relevant to the topic…and now we’re discussing a completely different class.

The topic is mage, in case anyone forgot due to the distractions in here.

Darkcloud, which classes aren’t OP in your opinion (other than Shaman, of course)?

In my opinion,

As far as power level, it’s been pretty even.

My main qualm is from a design level

Demon Hunter, Paladin, Warrior, and Rogue are pretty fair decks.

Maybe Warlock.

Priest has been weaker ever since nerfs but still sees niche play.

It’s mainly mage and face hunter running unchecked.

I can only speak for Legend tho, I’m sure it’s very different from Bronze - Diamond.

Anything goes there.

ā€œEvery class gets 30ā€

Well, technically discover or ā€œadd random card to handā€ has been a thing for a long time (like… ysera from classic is card generation). Twin spell also sort of lets one card be used twice. Depending on the deck, every class can get more than 30 cards to work with (whether the deck performs well is another story)

Alternatively, one might get cards that can last a long time, like that hunter weapon that doesn’t lose durability with a dragon.

It’s just that in the last 2 years card gen has played a bigger role. 5 EVIL classes have lackeys to start, then everybody else starts getting other stuff.

You’ve never seen a quest shaman have you? Literally can play 100s of cards that didn’t start in your deck.

You’ve never seen a shuffle rogue have you? Literally can play 100s of cards that didn’t start in your deck.

I kinda agree on the only little side problem that when i generate random things with my priest its a lightwell or a dragonmaw sentinel or something that cost 6+ mana wich wont let me do much.

I would not mind mage card gen either it it werent for the fact that mage is like 1 mana generate a spell that will reduce spell costs in your deck by 1 3 times than cast 0 mana arcen intelect into 0 mana leran draconic into 0 mana magic trick into frostbolt or flame ward/counterspell and still has 2 mana to cast 6 other spells

I dont have atwin spell as a priest…

Randomly generated cards? Current mage is still outshined by gala rogue from previous expansion where your deck win condition was also tied to cards generated in a game. Though rogue coukd easily double the generated cards compared to cyclone mage

At least the gala rogue cards came from a much smaller pool so you could play around them.

ā€œAll Reborn minionsā€ (Pharaoh Cat), ā€œAll non-Rogue class legendariesā€ (Dragon’s Hoard), ā€œAll Rogue spellsā€ (Ethereal Lackey), and ā€œAll Rogue/neutral dragonsā€ (Draconic Lackey) sounds like a much larger pool than ā€œAll Spell Damage Minionsā€ and ā€œAll Mage spells.ā€

EDIT: fixed Draconic Lackey.

True. I was only thinking about lackeys and toggwaggle.

There’s also ā€œbattery minions (it costs 2 less)ā€, if they decide to run the 2 mana spell.

Hanar is also sorta generation.

That is not technically correct. He only gives Rogue or Neutral Dragons to Rogues not all dragons.

Though DQA is neutral…and lets not pretend it was hard for rogue to play atleast 2 in longer matches. My max was DQA x 4 played and 5th one being on hand - opponent conceded after 4th Alex

There was 1 game I saw on Kibler Stream where he played against a Mage that had 5 evocations. That got me thinking perhaps they should nerf Evocation to cost 0 or 2 mana so you at least you can’t get them from Wandmaker or Cobalt Spellkin.
