Now even 30 card decks are running Denathrius? This card is toxic as anything. When I see 30 card decks running this stupid card it is time to fix it. All it does is enable bad decks and poor gameplay. Play like Garbage and you still have a get out of jail free card. And running Theo is a lame attempt at countering this because it requires RNG for it to work. Any counter that requires at least 3 layers of RNG is a crap answer.

There is no reason why only 40 cards deck should play it.
In a 30 cards deck you can draw it more reliably and win sooner.

How in the world can you say that an I win card is good? Like literally I played this one card and you instantly lose. Even if I played like garbage the whole game. Playing a bad game should mean you lose. There should not be any card that allows a horribly played match to result in a win. This card enables poor gameplay when poor gameplay should be punished.

I play it in 30 card decks all the time.
But more to the point, most decks should not be 40 cards anyway. It almost always makes the deck worse, but people don’t seem to understand that part. I see waaaaaaay too much renathal. It’s the exception to see a 30 health deck lately.

Didn’t you say that Denathrius would be nerfed after DK comes out, because people were going to spend money, and at that point Denathrius will have served his purpose?

the whole discussion forum is starting to fill up with nerf sire threads and comments. hmm could that be because they released an OP card hmm. i wonder. well i guess that could be it.
You best get ready for all the 30 card DK decks with Sire in them on Dec 6th. DK has so many ways to pump Sire up there’s no reason to play 40 cards.
I feel like the expansion is going to be very poor.

The whole point is to try to convince people that Denathrius and Renathal are not like Siamese twins.
Because Blizzard is already threatening to nerf Renathal.
Why wouldn’t 30 card decks run Denwthrius? 30 card decks have been running Densthrius since the expansion dropped to varying degrees of success. It’s not a new thing. It’s the obvious thing to do.

I actually think the card is a problem and broken. I think most of the player base agrees as seen in the countless threads and the actual played rate of the card. It will be even more disgusting when the exp drops. I think anyone who actually says that cards like this are good are just virtue signaling their own perceived skill and trying to make themselves look smart. Its a bad card and there are too many times that card alone has won games period.

Then why do you feel compelled to put a case forward that Denathrius is seeing play in 30 card decks?
What does that have to do with any of that?
There is a very special category of posters who go from thread to thread posting stuff like “umm no 
sounds like a you problem, k?”, it’s as if they live to argue in the haughtiest, most toxic manner possible.
I just wonder what drives them? Depression? Desire for conflict? They just can’t move along and miss a chance to spit some bile out. It’s amusing really, but the forum is oversaturated with posters like that lately, every thread just turns into a fight.
This section really needs moderation.

That said:
The most probable cause is that there’s a lot of unchecked misinformation on these forums and people feel compelled to correct it in hopes the next guy over don’t fall into the same errors themselves.
Take this thread: By it’s OP alone, it seems Densthrius reached a new level of playrate and is now in 30 card decks, oh my! Such busted, much wow.
In actuality 3/ card decks are the obvious choice to get a card in hand consistently, and he has been in 30 card decks the whole expansion and if anything is in a slight decline in playrate with the rise of Aggro.
