instead of letting people have fun with new mechanics (new locations), we instead continue to drown in unfun deck spam shenanigans like Boomboss TNT, Marin, or Plagues

What decks yall using to somehow manage to lose to those 3 things you listed this often

Pretty sad that this was obviously put in to counter Priest location even though Priest is in the trash for the most part.
And I don’t believe they are doing it for any other reason than that.
We have Plagues and now Eruption coming and they didn’t even bother putting Steamcleaner or Geist in, so it’s obviously not a new card added just to help counter an upcoming meta.
Pretty lame.
Luckily, I doubt many people even run this because it’s not worth it in most other match ups.
I don’t think anyone will be running announce darkness next season yet I can see it working as a counter to plagues.
Come to think of it I’m the only one running Rafaam that I’ve seen to counter plagues right now
Perhaps in an ETC. But Plagues might not be a problem. We’re likely heading into a super hyper aggro meta with OTK stuff.

Lol, yeah, people who constantly complain about plagues will. No sensible player will tho because Plague DK is pretty bad.
Yeah i don’t see the new meta coming up slowing down at all. They gave mana acceleration to a control deck so that’s no longer playing for the absolute long game. Aggro already exists in abundance and doesn’t look to be slowed down with anything new.
I predict Turn 7 is the new end game turn for standard once new expansion drops.
nah i don’t lose, the “you lose to funny deck” are just obnoxious (and incindius is gonna be even worse)

Why does it matter as to “which decks”? Some of the mechanics introduced in the last two expansions are just extremely frustrating to play against. Especially Boomboss/Plagues if you are just too slow of a deck. it would also be a healthy counter towards to Marin for combo decks and other decks that use him as a form of extra push and value.
I really don’t see how Demolition Renovator would see any semblance of play. Especially since some of the locations re-open if you meet the conditions just right. But hey at least it costs 3 mana and still has tradable? So I guess it’s aight. But definitely not worth taking out one card for this specific tech.
i noticed renovator being added makes sense the expansion is adding a bunch of locations that re open earlier
and im happy for no steamcleaner so i can keep playing rafaam and tony without worrying about getting my deck nuked

I like this addition because it makes “sandcastle” less likely to be nerfed,
We can get rid of them by answering that they simply need to add this card to their deck xD
