I just started playing and I am playing all the Classes to level 10 in practice mode. When I try to play the Priest deck, I get the error: The selected deck is not valid for this game mode. I have not changed anything in the default deck.
Practice Mode (against the Innkeeper) is based on the rules for the Wild format. In Wild, all cards from all sets since the release of the game are allowed … with exactly three exceptions, because they allowed for interactions that were too overpowered even for that format.
These banned cards are Crimson Clergy, Switcheroo, and Tome Tamperting. The former two are both Priest cards.
I don’t know what the default deck looks like, but my assumption is that at least one copy of Crimson Clergy or Switcheroo is included. If you take it out and replace it with another card, you should be able to use the deck in practice mode.
