Deck recommendations (wild mostly)

Hi, returning player here. I stopped playing when Uldum came out. I’m looking for recommendations to craft viable wild decks that are more tempo/control based (if there are any :stuck_out_tongue: ). The archetypes I enjoyed the most were Reno decks and N’zoth/deathrattles. I’ve been having a hard time especially vs pirate warrior. I know it is like super meta but maybe it’s also due to my outdated decks or they are just not viable at all even including the new cards. Any input is appreciated <3

I’m a recent returnee as well. Even renolock is a great, enjoyable deck, and takes many games past turn 10  great for control players while also giving you the tools to apply heavy early pressure as is often necessary in wild these days!

If you want a cheap affordable fast hitting aggro deck I would choose discard warlock or cutelock. No guarantees the rng gods are in your favor though. Some games are great and other games are bad. No guarantees with disco or zoo.

I play wild exclusively. A lot of variety now in terms of viable decks.

Those that use a lot of older cards so you don’t need to craft much:

Secret mage
Celestial alignment druid
Handbuff pally
Ignite mage
Mozaki mage
Hand lock
Rez priest
Beneath the caverns rogue
Discolock

Those that requires you to have the latest legendary quest lines:

Pirate warrior
Odd quest hunter

Those that requires more recent cards

Freeze reno shudderwork shaman
20 mana druid
OwlTK warlock

In general there is so much power creep in the recent sets most of your cards need to come from them

You can make a hero power mage pretty cheap if you have Frost Lich Jaina

Here’s one I threw together and have been having fun with:

FYI - You don’t really need the mass polymorphs. Those are literally just in there so I can screw around with it heheh. What you definitely want are the wildfires and cards that add to tempo or give you a chance to generate more wildfires. Siamat would be a good card for a big heal once you get Jaina going. Mordresh is also a card you really want for this type of deck.

Mage is crap unless you want to play slot machine.
Even then, it’s mediocre, time-consuming garbage.
Wild Rogue is insane. Pally, Hunter, and Shaman are well nigh unbeatable.
Team 5 once again shows everyone just how prejudiced they really are.
So: Wild pally, hunter, shaman, rogue.
You will win even if you stink.
That’s how busted and biased the game is now.

Check the date. ////

oops. Darn necromancers.
