To deal with my opponent’s Rattlegore i played:
Deathwarden -> Risky Skipper -> Lord Barov
You would expect Rattlegore to die without resummon because of Deathwarden, right?
Well nope, the Deathrattle still triggers. What even is the point then?
Recode the passive so it floats with simultaneous deaths, please and thanks.
It’s an aura.
The minion needs to be alive to cancel rattlegore effect.

Isnt Barrow - Skipper - Deathwarden the right order?
Or wait a sec - is the dmg from skipper done before the Deathwarden aura takes the effect?

This would be optimal, and prevent my now misplay.
I could swear simultaneous deaths would still maintain the effect of auras, as for example happens with armorsmith during defile. Oh well, painful lessons.
Armorsmith gives armor when a minion gets damage, not when it dies.
Deathwarden does something when a minion with deathrattle dies, not when it gets damage.
These things happen in different stages of the phases.

An easy way you can test this is with Cult Master. If Cult Master > Skipper > Barov doesn’t draw anything, the interaction is correct and Deathwarden shouldn’t be able to stop Rattlegore. If it does draw, the interaction if bugged and Deathwarden should be able to stop Rattlegore (well, or Cult Master is the bugged card).
You are all talking about this being “bugged.” In reality, whether it works or doesn’t work the way you expect I doubt there are any bugs. I’ve seen and posted about inconsistencies in HS for a while now. Usually the result is, “That’s just the way it is supposed to work based upon prior rulings from older cards with similar interactions.” Basically - they want it that way so some other un-related combo isn’t totally broken.
I’m not saying it’s bugged, I’m just salty I mispredicted how it works.
That… I totally understand. It frustrates me to no end when the wording and interactions on cards doesn’t work due to some strange unexplained effect. Don’t get me wrong… I’ve misunderstood things and that is on me. I’m just talking about the times when the card clearly says one thing and the mechanic does not work that way. I’m with you on that.
