Again, some people even tried to not fight and honestly ask for more productive discussion. That was shot down.

Haha, the side where I was arguing with chap came from another forum, because I didn’t want to start it over again. I’ve already when over with him why dk isn’t the highest performing deck as of now based on data. The two sides are not the same because you don’t know what you’re talking about with the prior conversation I had with chapuzo.

There’s no productive conversations done here because the data being analyzed isn’t correct.
It’s nothing more than an anti-blood dk support group.
This is what I’m talking about. My post was never even about the meta or DKs, just how the conversation got steered.

Really the main problem with IAm’s posts are that he doesn’t realize that his joke, while initially funny, has by now been played out.

I noticed that the phrase “if things slow down” kept popping up in OP. Things never slow down. If blizz wanted to slow things down, they’d have to take an initiative each expansion to print half control cards, and start printing actual good taunt minions that do stuff when they’re cleared.
There do exist good taunt minions. It’s currently being run by Big Warlock.
Or people just realized they’re a troll and either ignored them or put their account on ignore.

I’ve seen screen shots of the competitive rank metas showing that Blood dk is melting things, but nothing to show it’s T2 and weak.
What it does at garbage tier free data ranks isn’t relevant to any actual discussion outside of playrate issues.
The irony… things slowed down and that’s why blood dk is a thing.

And Blood DK is doing exactly what I said it would do when alex and pathwerk were revealed, chase every other control deck out of the meta. Right now DK is tier 0 cause all the combo stuff got removed with rotation, and it has tools to decimate rival control decks.
Things did not slow down enough to reach a control meta like Rise of Shadows was.

Consistency shows it’s not the strongest deck, although it is the strongest control deck.
I think the problem with things is that there is too much synergy built in decks now. ‘Totem’ shaman, ‘Outcast’ DH, ‘Pure’ paladin.
If they would loosen up the synergy in classes that would force the player base to start having to play smaller synergy packages rather than everyone having to run the same 10-15 cards for whatever their main class synergy is. That would lead to more varied deck design and much more varied gameplay.
For blood DK though they just gave them a billion board clears. They’re like oldschool warlock which could play a board clear / removal almost every turn. Add onto being able to discover and heal +40 hps with vampiric blood and you have the most vanilla ‘control’ deck the game has ever seen.
I think the overall game has a problem with too much synergy and DK has a problem with too narrow a discover pool and having been given way too many board clears / removals in a single ‘year’

In that case, maybe he’s not Heath Ledger Joker, but Joaquin Phoenix Joker. Heath’s Joker had reason within his madness. Amidst all the chaos he sowed Heath’s Joker was steering Gotham towards his twisted vision/agenda, almost as if he had a plan all along (thus my initial comment that Iam was engineering and steering the thread)
Joacquin’s doesn’t have grand plans or goals. He’s just lashing out to a world that treated him bad. So yeah, repeat the same jokes and insults. Whatever makes him feel better.

You need to go back and read RoS meta reports.
RoS wasn’t a Control meta.
Just because there’s one good Control deck in the meta doesn’t make it a Control meta.

What are you smoking?. Blood dk is king even at top 1k legend. A heavy co trol deck shouldn’t be so strong because it makes playing board based strategies completely miserable.
seemed to me paladin, demon hunter and frost DK are better.
Also high legend is a micro meta that differs from the rest of the ladder.
