Dark Skies counting itself as a card towards damage bug

When using Dark Skies it is counting my opponents dark skies as one of the cards towards the cards. This mechanic shouldn’t work like that as similar cards like mountain giant don’t work towards counting (is if you have 10 cards it does not cost 2). Please watch this replay on turn 3 to understand what I’m talking about. It did 9 damage when he had 8 cards in hand after playing…

Not a bug. Actually read the card. Dark Skies itself deals one damage. Then it repeats for every card in your hand. If you have 9 cards in your hand before playing Dark Skies, Dark Skies will deal 9 damage (1 for the spell, and 8 more for the remaining 8 cards in your hand).
