Curse you Blizzard and your luck/rng

Tinfoil hat time boys.
Blizzard has it out for me. I am absolutely sure. And to clarify, I’m not saying MM is rigged or something like that, I’m saying Blizzard has confused my name for someone else’s, marked me as VIP, and is purposely rigging it against me. By rigging I mean not MM, but RNG. So many times a card isn’t drawn, only to have it burn off immediately the next turn after.
Like the rest of this forum, I have absolutely no proof nor reason to believe this. Yet like the rest of this forum, I’m going to outlandishly proclaim this as if it’s guaranteed true without proof, using the fallacious , circular reasoning that “you cant prove it’s not true”.

Yes of course! Any patterns I ever observe can only and only be
consciously created. No, not random because it cannot ever be possible. Blizzard made me a victim and purposely made me lose over and over using cutting edge RNG rigging technology that costs millions of dollars where there are clearly better alternatives for profit.

i mean… we have all heard the term of “streamer luck” right?
so, it stands to reason, mathematically, that if one has a consistent above average rng, clearly designed by blizzard in order to lure in unaware customers, then there’s a proportional population that has rigged negative rng in order to bring the net balance!

it’s all pure math!

(and yes, because this is the internet, but more importantly, because this is HS forums, i feel obligated to actually type that i’m joking)

Are you f2p? They have programmed system to give you good draws depending on how much you have used money on hearthstone. It’s 1% increase in chance for best draw every 10 dollars you have paid and there’s a 75% cap. I recommend investing 750 dollars immediately. If you have paid zero it gives a better chance to draw bad. These all have been proven by scientists

Hearthstone is rigged full stop. That’s why some researchers could train a neural network to predict the playing sequence of most of the players with an accuracy over 95%, and that’s why heatthstone team forced (or payed) them to not release the source code

Not what that neural network did, but OK.

I know what you mean in regards to not being able to believe the game is truly just “random” I mostly play battlegrounds where rng dictates the format. Too many times during battle I watched the supposed “rng” not act random at all… As if it is “trying” to make you lose or win. Especially if you’re in 1st place with no life loss. It will pair you with someone it knows it can manipulate a win for. I’ve also watched it totally screw over my opponent and hook me up… so it’s not like I’m saying it’s just against me.

When your golden rivendale gets attacked 3 times in a row to kill it… that’s not rng. That’s the game manipulating the mechanics to kill you.

I didn’t win any money from lottery tickets after buying TEN, TEN OF THEM! Illuminati rigged life against me! Patterns can only be consciously created! Yes! Yes!

That’s a r/wooooooosh moment dude. Don’t be the person people are making Fun of in the thread.

People can think all they want, but the odds of happening ar 777 343 to 1. You’re more likely to flip a coin and get heads 8 times in a row. There is bad luck, then there is “crazily defying the odds” bad luck.

Hmmmm… I don’t know How to break It to you dude, but that’s not such a high number on context. Like, at all. If there’s a 1000 fights per day in BG, 3 people should get this unluck, and there’s way more than that (yeah yeah, i know. That’s not How probability works, but i’m toO lazy to math It out right now).

Someone is bound to get Sniped.

On a similar note, i Just missed 3 shots in a row with 95% chance to hit a few days Ago, while playing New Vegas.

Meme worthy, sure, but hardly remarkable.

Edit 2: If i didn’t miss something, the chance of It not happening is roughly 5%, across one thousand battles of 7 x 7.

202020 is 8000:1 odds. Yeah, you got totally screwed. That’s assuming you had a 95% chance and were 3 in a row. It’s impossible to calculate all the games played so all a person can do is calculate with the games they have played. With your logic I should only see this happen 3 out of every 1000 possible times it could happen. If it happened that infrequently I wouldn’t notice. When I see something similar every day it doesn’t feel like as random as should be.

Yes, they were. The same enemy killed me too, right afterwards.

Sure, it’s impossible to have numbers on every game, but hey: If something is basically sure to happen at least once in each 1000 tried, and there are like, a few Million people playing, then we know it’s bound to happen to someone, right?

It’s not that uncommon, given the circunstances.

Look dude, i’m not trying to be offensive, but this kind of case i would think first of perception bias? There are a TON of events in each BG game, and It would be very easy to only remember the ones you get emotionally attached to.

I know i sniped people more than a few times (can’t remember any in particular, tho), and got snipped myself (can clearly remember the time 2 of Ysera whelps snipped half my comp and BEAT my pirates exodia because that made me extra salty)
