I’m pretty excited for rotnest Drake and sad that the paladin dragon is just a meme by comparison.
Rotnest looks disgustingly overpowered. 5 cost card with a 5 cost body… plus deadlyshot!
Any deck that plays big minions is so doomed.

Consider the fact that it goes into highlander hunter.
You get one copy. It’s not the end of the world as we know it, lol. It’s just something hunter desperately needs.

Tournament and Ranked metas are never going to work the same unless they use the exact same system for progression.
Decks that do well in the Masters Tour are not guaranteed to be good in Ranked. They might work, but many of them are tuned to handle specific matchups while sacrificing any chance in other matchups.

I put Rotnest Drake in a highlander deck. Beat Embiggen Druid and Quest Priest so far (though I am down around level 10 right now). Very handy card (and also a nice card to discover from other dragons).

b)“pro scene” by definition is the tournaments. Now, if you have a weird definition of “professional” that’s on you.

Hunter looks pretty incredible, with three Tier 1 decks at legend. Highlander Hunter has little to no weaknesses in the current meta. Quest Hunter continues to be astonishingly underrated (and we’ll keep saying it). Face Hunter has benefited from a decline of both Galakrond Warrior and Resurrect Priest, and it also gained a few percentages in the Embiggen Druid matchup. It jumps to Tier 1 at legend because of the low prevalence of its hardest counters, but it might run into fresh issues should news of Mech Paladin’s dominance continue to spread.
