I played a game where I had Crystal Cluster, The Coin, and 9 Mana Crystals.
I played the coin to get 10 Mana Crystals.
I played Crystal Cluster and got 2 Elemental summons.
Seems pretty clear that Crystal Cluster is not counting temporary Mana Crystals when it takes its effect. This wouldn’t ordinarily be a problem, but this new event makes it much more common when you get the free coins game mode.
When you spend mana, temporary mana crystals aren’t just emptied, they vanish completely.
So after casting that spell, you in fact only had nine mana crystals.

The Coin says “gain a mana crystal this turn”, not until used. Poor wording at the least. If they want it to be this way, it should be bonus mana this turn, rather than mana crystal.
Hearthstone has no mana at all. only mana crystals
Crystal cluster states you gain 3 empty mana crystals you had 9 empty mana crystals and 10 mana crystals so when you played the spell(even if it would have cost zero) on resolution(opponent doesn’t have counter spell) it will give you an empty mana crystal and summon 2 dudes.
Working as intended.

Not by the phrasing of the cards. You even said, “had 10 mana crystals”. Point stands.
go talk to ridiculoushat on reddit if you want to discuss this with someone who actually has a say in the game and might be able to change it. the bug report forum is largely people who accept the rules as they are and justify them retroactively (myself included)
Oh really? I was informed that this was the only formal bug reporting service, which as a SC2 player I heavily doubted. So its just a hot mess then?
“I was informed that this was the only formal BUG REPORTING service”. Yes, and what you’re describing is NOT a bug, but intentional design of the game. Temporary mana (such as from the Coin or the old functionality of Floop’s Glorious Gloop) do NOT actually increase the amount of mana you have in a turn. Like Skizzy said, if you’d like to discuss the mechanical implications of that, talk to ridiculoushat. You will NOT be reporting a bug to him, rather you will be discussing game mechanics with him.
no bugs here, working as intended
