From the stats hsguru was collecting, it was clearly better than handbuff on the last days of the patch; easy 60%+ win rates when handbuff had stagnated; most people learned to predict handbuff easily and the tech cards only worked when the opponents were card generators and those started becoming fewer after a point.
It’s a kind of “Shopper DH pre-nerf”: it just collects a couple of inevitable cards and then starts spamming AOE to people.
You probably aren’t someone that enjoys playing DK but Blood DK is a real deck and it destroys frost DK not to mention Paladin and other decks. Ironically the Combo Rogue deck was the real bad matchup and it’s basically gone.
It will get even scarier if Blood DK ever gets a card that is a genuine game ender type card. ATM they just grind their opponents out until they basically give up.
The new Hunter deck is pretty good at beating Frost DK as well. Solid early game and the mid game is a massive board spike that is hard for them to handle.
This seems to be the most common version being played. I think Nohands is playing it.
Not sure why you should be upset about it. Since you aim for the very top of Legend I suspect your next step in your “career” is to stop caring switching decks because that’s part of the game up there; you should be able to switch decks; you should have “homebrew” skills at least in the sense you have to understand yourself what to switch to because looking at stats sites has low data up there unless you want to trust other players speaking to you (it seems the people winning competitions combine both deckbuilding skills and having top ranked friends giving them homebrews (what later others copy-paste and call “netdeck”)).
It reminds me of me being upset I play f2p and don’t have all the decks; I shouldn’t care; why should I be upset that the p2w part of the game got me in part?
This month you appear to have titled because you didn’t change deck fast enough as the top of Legend demands to stay …top of Legend.
