I only play DK, so it is a sad sight to see this card going away. I took a look at the new cards for DK coming in and they do look like they could be fun. But it does have me a little worried that this is gone as well as some of the power cards cycling out for the year.
Good riddance, because it completely invalidates a board with reborn for only 5 mana.
It’s not like DK doesn’t have a 4 mana neutral rune requirement board clear (Pyro/Venomous Breath)

They are cutting back even more on sweepers this season. They did a huge cut of them last season and now most of them are basically going to be gone at rotation. the ones that stay are extremely pricey and don’t really allow for recovery of the board on the same turn.

The powerful clears enabled the extreme greed decks of the past. Low cost cards were only included if they generated value or supported some late game mechanic. Otherwise it was be as greedy as possible.
