With the new update and expansion, on PC the game is constantly crashing for me. It seems to be related to making literally any changes to display settings in game. The following scenarios all resulted in the game freezing, crashing, and the Battle.net client seeing the game as being played “Playing Now” with no background processes running after crash that would imply this is the case:
Changing from Fullscreen to windowed
Changing resolution to match my monitor
Changing quality from medium to low OR high
Because the game sees itself as still “playing now”, only a complete PC restart seems to alert the client the game is no longer being played.
I have tried a complete uninstall and reinstall and the issue persisted. The moment I try to go windowed…crash. I also tried using reset settings and running a scan and repair. All the same issues, no ability to change display settings. If I try to launch the game with ANYTHING but the default graphics settings, the game doesn’t load past the doors screen, no logo ever appears.
Setup is a Windows 11 PC with RX 7600 graphics and a 7700X processor. Frustrating!
