Hi! I’m playing Hearthstone and completed the tutorial and reached the ranked goal to be able to play in classic mode but the two modes that are only showing up are the Standard and Casual mode…I don’t know what else to do to be able to play on Classic. Please help.

I’ve done all this and still the classic and wild modes not unlocking on my account.
What appears when you go into your Collection and click on the card set selector (beside mana gems) and scroll down to the bottom? Any Wild Sets listed?
No, no wild sets listed. It only appears Standard and casual mode when try to make the switch. I’ve made everything to unlock classic and wild but the modes won’t unlock.
Have you tried restarting the app? Not just suspending it.
Have you tried logging completely out and back in? Even changing regions.
What Wild pack(s) did you purchase?
What Wild card did you craft?
If there are no Wild Sets listed, it seems like you have not followed the steps of getting Wild cards.

I can’t buy wild or classic packs, only standard. I don’t know the wild cards too much but i created one wild card and disenchanted just to test but nothing happens, the card was “Metamorfin”.
Metamorfin is a Standard card not Wild.
Try going into you Card Collection, go into Crafting mode (Crafting has a blue outline now). Go to card set selector (beside mana gems) and scroll down until you get to Wild Sets. Select any set below that and craft a Common card.
Hm ok. Im on the crafting mode but im not understanding what u mean about “scroll down until you get to Wild Sets”. Can you tell me a common wild card to craft?
When you clicked on the card set selector (beside mana gems), you should see:
- Standard Cards
- All Cards
- Standard Sets
- Alterac Valley
- Stormwind
- and so on
Scroll down that list and you should find a section called Wild Sets.
Select any one of those Wild sets.
In the Search text box type: common
All the cards should have blue shimmer.
Craft any one of those common cards from a Wild set.
Oh ok i got it but on the card set selector i only have
- Standard Cards
- New cards
- Alterac Valley
- etc.
No wild sets section.
There is a blue outline on the Crafting button?
What rank are you currently?
Go to the Journal,
Select Profile (fourth button down),
above Total wins is an icon, mouse over that

At the moment im Platinum 10 (standard). All modes should be unlocked getting bronze10 but nothing happen on my account.
Have you tried playing the Tavern Brawl? That has also opened Wild when the Brawl is Wild format.
Yes. I followed all the steps to unlock classic, Getting bronze10, playing on practice mode, wining a tavern brawl, doing arena, etc. I have other account that when i reached bronze10 i was able to unlock classic and wild mode but on this account i think its bugged…or the only last thing i need to do is crafting a wild card?! but i cant see any wilds to craft…
Have you unlocked Demon Hunter class?
Have you tried a password change? That sometimes triggers account updates.
yeah i unlocked the demon hunter class. i don’t know what else more to do to unlock classic. i can’t buy wild or classic packs. i can’t see or craft any wild, classic cards only standard. im going to try changing the password but i don’t think thats the case.
I also have the same situation. I think i glitched passed half the tutorial when i first started playing
Try to craft a wild card:
- Go to collection
- Select crafting
- In the Search bar, type any wild card (try “shifting scroll” ou just type scroll)
- Now open the card set selector and select wild cards
- Craft the card (A notice will open saying that a wild card can’t be used in standart so if this message don’t appear, that isn’t a wild card)
I had the same problem and did it to unlock
