I cannot believe Blizzard / Team5 removed Classic mode for ever. I refuse to believe that.
The most skill intensive format of HS - a RNG fiesta game - has been removed years ago and people don’t care.
Blizzard, remove the abomination that is the twist mode and bring us back our beloved mode !!
Classic RNG is 10 times worse than anything they threw at you nowadays regarding taking off player agency.
One reason I used to really enjoy Wild was because it was the nearest you could get to a Classic mode.
Terrible, terrible changes though have destroyed what made Wild great and turned Wild into like a Standard 2.
More like Standard multiplied by 20. It has things like milling your deck within 5 rounds and only some emergency nerfs removed lethal from round 1.
The Devs are out of their depth to balance Standard and the permutations of cards in Wild are exponentially higher every single cards release.
Literal lie. Show me the patch notes for a nerf to remove a turn 1 lethal from wild. Yes, theoretical T1 OTK’s are possible, no there hasnt been a nerf to one. They’re abysmally bad decks.

If Classic was such a superior mode when they brought it back then why did it become 99% bots in about a month?
Blizz gives no way for us to start a collection .
Ranked gameplay only gives u packs from standard, even if u play other ranked modes.
New players have a new basic set now and they feel no benefit in crafting classic cards since most are almost useless these days cuz of powercreep.
With that said, the bot problem was created cuz blizzard had ceased operations in china, many players started creating bots by using basic cards in zoolock, since zoolock was strong and cheap, many resorted to that to try to rebuild their collections.
So…every new mode that has to compete with standard instead of being an option will lose to it, no matter what.
