Class Identity = Raid Boss
Weaknesses = Having to play against other Demon Hunters
Indeed i dont know why people are still complaning about the class you only need to play around that and get 2.5 times more HP.
Get good scrubs.
The class weakness is that it’s so good that you play a ton of mirrors
Theorically : dealing with big minions, and keeping their own minions alive
Dealing with large threats supposedly, but Blade Dance or straight up killing you usually negates that “weakness.”
Their weakness is that sometimes they only get to deliver lethal and don’t always get excess damage above lethal.
Their other weakness is that they only get to have 30 cards and dont have random generation, but Blizzard balanced this weakness by making them draw perfect every game or rather, ensure that no matter how weak their hand is, its always sufficient to deal with any situation.
Come to think of it, their other weakness and its a big one, they are immortal. They can’t die. It doesn’t sound like a weakness, but a 100WR% surely gets boring ater a while
Actually if you look by the paper you would say that his strong points are also his weaknesses.
Why?
It’s specialization is hero buff and by that he needs to attack to actually get that removal.
But some random genius decided to print blade dance as it is.
Except that isn’t true. Because blade dance.
DH can remove three 12 health minions and still smash you in the face for 12. Because blade dance.
And about an hour ago… I had 2 16th health taunts on the board and I was at 6 health.
DH played Altruist, puked his hand out and I died. With 2 10 health taunts left on the board.
DH can deal with absolutely anything. Under no circumstances do they ever feel under threat.
I played DH last season with a 91% WR and the only reason I lost was due to me being knackered at 1 in the morning and losing concentration
Yeah I think it was supposed to be wide boards that screwed them over, with their only answer being altruis. Enter, Shardshatter mystic and Marrowslicer (to enable blade dance consistently).
It only got worse with the introduction of relentless pursuit (and bladed lady but that’s another issue entirely), but Scholomance is what made DH into the Achilles-without-a-heel class we’re dealing with today.
The very concept of weakness is a mistery for demon hunters, they can’t understand this kind of thing.

Well, I think we figured it out.
Demon Hunter’s weakness is sometimes not drawing Blade Dance.
Sometimes they have to pay about 7 whole mana to get only a 4/2 weapon, 2 attack from a spell and 2 6/6 with rush, and that’s not okay.
They should also draw 2 or 3 cards out of that.
This is actually more accurate then you probably realize lol, I think DH has like a 70%+ win rate if both Blade Dances are played according to HSReplay
Oh I’m well aware. I’ve been on the receiving end of decent-to-nut draw from them even while playing the most “oppressive toward DH” decks available.
Cyclone Mage could win any match because it might generate any outcome from it’s butt. Soul DH can win any match because it’s just that good.
They took the strength from every class and gave it to Demon Hunter thinking that would be ok.
Then, they took class weaknesses that DH has and gave Demon Hunter the abilities to bypass those weaknesses.

Class weakness is you can’t buff your minions to have more attack and health? Your minions deal damage to the board without attacking and also steal attack/health instead.

Think about other classes and their weaknesses.
Priest can’t card draw? Here’s…pretty much no help at all. In fact, we’ll move your help out of standard.
Rogue can’t clear board? Here’s…us taking away your only board removal option.
Druid can’t remove big minions? Here’s…us taking away your only ability to do that.
Priest weakness is face damage spells? Here’s…us taking away mind blast and the ability for holy smite to go face.
Demon Hunter has been their pet since its release. They are the swiss army knife of Hearthstone. And their one true “weakness” in becoming a big minion class with control is something they’ve already said they are looking to push for in future expansions.
Apparently their main weakness was supposed to be that they can’t randomly generate cards easily. How the developers manipulated their brains into thinking that was an actual weakness is anyone’s guess.
They think Casino Mage is a legit competitive theme. That’s all you need to know how highly they value random chance.
