Class hypocrisy

As a warrior player (Well mage, warrior, and DK) I cannot get over the hypocrisy of people demanding nerfs to warrior again and again, (which I thought was fair) but it being okay for classes like priest and rouge to either copy cards cheaply (or in rouge case return cards to the hand) and use certain effects over and over and over again. They may not be able to use double battle cry in a turn, but getting multiple uses of their best cards (or opponents cards) is literally the same thing to me as brann warrior. Why is there no demand for stuff like that to be nerfed as well?

I think Brann warrior gets the most hate because it defeats (nearly?) all other late game strategies with Boomboss

Nah, this dude is 100% salty because he has been owning every deck in the late game with his Brann Warrior until the Priest location came out and now he’s getting Brann and Boomboss used against him and he absolutely hates it.

Nerf everyone into the dirt.

Nerf the dirt too while you’re at it

I’m still upset about “buffs” killing tentacles. I thought tentacle warrior was a fun deck. Terrible Yogg Box spell mage has not scratched the same itch

I will never like that deck.

Probably because their strength comes from copying your overpowered cards. To address this, you target the source, not what’s benefiting from it.

So what you’re saying is you’re playing against a deck you dont like and asking for it to be nerfed/changed… while complaining about people who ask to nerf/change a deck that they dislike playing against.

Circle complete or something?

It’s fun getting your deck deleted by one vard isn’t it?

I think you are confusing 2 things:
First, competitively, decks that rely on clear cut strategy perform way way better. As such, Warrior is better, because relies the least on RNG than Priest or Rogue. Priest less, you mainly try to steal opponents win condition, but Rogue relies a whole lot on RNG and require a lot of skill, all that random crap you get you have to know how to use it to win.

Secondly, i understand why Priest or Rogue are frustrating to play against, because they seem to high roll sometimes. So they are mostly played casually i would say.

But make no mistake, Warriors even with 8 mana Brann, are still good.

im just glad priests got nerfed

This is false on the facts level, before we even get to theory, at the top levels of play. From the 23rd to the 28th of this month, Excavate Rogue narrowly outperformed Reno Warrior in top 1000 Legend.
https://www.vicioussyndicate.com/vs-data-reaper-report-295/

This is also false. Excavate Rogue is also the most single most played deck at top 1000 Legend, which is the least casual, most tryhard meta in Standard.

wow

and to think we got this deck thx to reddit

No, Reddit has never done anything and never will

I used brann warrior in response to EVERYONE using brann warrior. Couldn’t go two matches without it popping up. So I used it as well. But I like to play DK and mage as well. And just cause you say I like to play warrior doesn’t address anything else that I said in my initial post.

tbf I’d argue that most of the players that hover in legend ARE just playing for goofy fun. The sweatiest place is absolutely Diamond 5-1 (you’ve literally said so yourself in previous threads)

Exca Rogue is an incredibly fun deck but it has a lot of flaws.

edit: idk why i wrote high cause that’s wrong lol, but dumpster legend isn’t the vainglorious position every scrub thinks it is

No it isn’t.

Right when you come out of D1 into Legend, the place you pop out is just about as sweaty as where you just were, actually slightly more. From there you can go up, and get sweatier, or you can go down, which gets very casual very fast. “Garbage Legend” is indeed not a sweaty place, and in terms of global averages I would say that D4-1 on average is sweatier than an average of all of Legend, just because the very bottom of Legend is like Platinum in terms of seriousness and messes with the average so much.

But Top 1000 Legend is absolutely sweatier than D4-1 and it isn’t even remotely close

Opposite.
Those that are D5 - 1 don’t play enough to sweat the game in any way.

Disagree, maybe at the end of the season this is true but absolutely for the first week of each season it’s absolutely sweatier than legend.

Once you are in Legend, you don’t drop out. It removes a lot of the onus to tryhard.
