I am not certain if this is a bug or intentional at this point with all the patch work that has been done to the two cards, but Cho’gall’s battlecry effect returns discarded cards to my hand and they cost health instead of mana; however, they do not react with The Demon Seed which is confusing me since it is clearly damage that I am dealing on my turn. Could anyone help me out here?
Cards payed with health do not count as damage taken
This has been changed few extensions ago

Thanks for clarifying! But, doesn’t that make the whole thing void? What I mean is that is read as “damage on turn” and that would still qualify.

Yes, and paying with health is not taking damage anymore, that’s it
They did that change I assume to allow more space around paying with health to avoid stupid things like we’ve had with stealer of souls (paying with health now costs health even when you’re immune)

I get the ridiculous combos we have seen lately, but you would think the way the meta is right now those changes would revert. No?
