I just logged in to see that the patch was applied. At first I was excited but then I realized how absolutely stupid these nerfs were. Primarily the one for Pen Flinger.
I only had 2 in my collection so no free dust! 
On the plus side I had 15 or so extra far watch posts and 8 extra swords of the fallen. 
Yeah, realized I had dusted many of my Scholamance extras as well. Maybe I figured it was too late for nerfs at this point.
They should only nerf things I have extras of. (Hello, Field Contact)
Penflinger was my #1 OP card from Scholamance. If it wasnât going to be nerfed in Standard it was going to be nerfed in Wild. The card was just insane. I didnt touch it because of that and so I got like 20 disenchants.
Sadly I have an addiction to that âDE Extrasâ button :3
I have like 20k dust just sitting around from disenchants but I donât disenchant unless I need a card or a card gets nerfed.
it was great for me around 3000 dust from the penflingers ,the watchposts and sthe sword
i havent disenchanted the legendaries yet and my lunacy is golden!
So would either of the solutions I proposed for it have been better?
The minions only restriction was the worst fix, imo, because the problem wasnât the face, it was the repeated turn after turn utility.
I proposed either (a) the spell burst returned it to hand at the end of the turn or (b) the spellburst returned an echo that expired at the end of the turn.
At some point I must have hit the mass disenchant button. I typically never dust anything unless I need more to build a deck. Even then I try to only dust pure crap.
Iâm guessing you didnât read the last part of my post. Either that or my humor isnât as understandable as Iâd hoped. 
Itâs a joke. I only say the nerf was horrible because I didnât have extra flingers. Itâs not the best IMO but itâs better than nothing. Even if it does kill my current favorite rogue deck.
Are you guys getting full value for nerfed cards? Iâve reloaded my game twice on my pc and phone, and it still says penflinger and far watch post are worth 5 dust.
I am. Mobile takes longer. Youâll get a popup when the nerf hits your device.
They have, I can see in my collection that Far Watch is 3 health and Penflinger can only attack minions, but its not showing me full dust refund.
Iâd take some screenshots and send them to blizzard. Definitely via email as they donât seem to read the bug report forums.

Okay, I changed my mind. I opened two Golden Penflingers in my free Year of the Griffin packs. I fully support the nerf now.
I do find it humerous more so in a pathetic kind of way that the devs targeted the pally penflinger combo but the only deck that seems to be hit the hardest is darkglare warlock in wild. Pally hardly seems affected. What a joke the design team isâŚ
I honestly think the best nerf to pen flinger would have been to set the minimum cost of librams to 1.
