I read on the patch notes that clicking “exit game” was changed to make you leave the lobby you are in. This seems to have effectively made reconnecting to battlegrounds matches impossible, you only end up on the main page unable to get back in. I was frozen while viewing my partner in duos and needed to reconnect fast or lose a turn. I didnt click exit game, but instead used alt+f4 and when that didnt work i used task manager to close it. I am unable to get back in with my friend and hes forced to play alone… Can this be reverted? The patch notes said it was asked for, but this is ruining the multiplayer experience of duos.
I think you misread the patch notes. Quit should no longer concede your game following the patch
[General] Using the “Quit” button from the in-game menu will no longer Concede your game when closing the client. Funnily, this issue was actually the original and intended behavior, resurfaced after a longstanding bug was fixed. But there was clear feedback that many of you were used to the bug and preferred that functionality, so we turned the bug into a feature and reverted the functionality.
