I don’t follow would you please expand on this??? Sorry for being a bit slow but could you give an example?? Prior to HS my exposure to card games are only dominos and bridges.
I did play mtg arena awhile back from '18-'21, but I have no idea the land rigging cheating technique in physical version.

Have you ever seen a Magician do a simple card trick? All they are doing is manipulating the cards in the deck without you knowing it because you aren’t looking at what they are doing with their hands and specifically their fingers.
It’s the same premise but applying it to a CCG. You can do all kinds of things to manipulate your own deck but more importantly you can shuffle your opponents deck and stack their deck to make sure they get minimal land or put their key cards on the bottom. If you are good with card manipulation you can do it without anyone knowing.
As i understand it today in MTG there are specific rules about shuffling but back in the early days it was fast and loose. Players just trusted each other and other players took advantage of that.
As an example for regular cards you just take the deck and shuffle it and then deal and make sure you put the cards you want on the bottom and then deal from the bottom of the deck with nobody noticing.

If we are talking about randomization of physical card decks there’s been studies on how much shuffling is required for true randomization, and anything short of a machine or human shuffling for several min straight results in non random decks.

Yes however the way Celestalon speaks is not their MO for decades. They never do propaganda with direct falsehoods but instead they do it with half-truths.
It would be foolish to throw direct falsehoods in this case because a disgruntled employee could easily expose them by leaking part of the source code.
Nah, you just cant make up your mind whether the devs are honest or liars. You choose the option that suits your agenda.
If you trust them on this, you must also trust that they tested the Velen interaction. There is more than enough evidence supporting it, yet you STILL claim they are lying about it.

Perhaps I was wrong about Velen because I was not aware of what they said in the mid-expansions after 2014 (I started playing around Badlands’ release) so they might have been aware.
In this case I understand again the software engineering well to the point of knowing that a) they don’t have to rig it and b) it would be almost impossible to rig it (a hard problem to solve).
They can instead just raise your MMR (nothing more complex is needed (higher MMR = the probability to lose is just higher so you WILL lose sooner or later without rigging)).
The conspiracists will never believe the source code is legit, though.
If your axiom is “companies maximize evil” then there’s not a discussion to be had.

Despite what my friend carnivore has told me i am leaning towards, in good faith, the fact that it does force losses to spanish mobile players. I am in shocke and awe at the perfect curve draws of my opponents as of late.
This is all coming from a huge win streak to top 50 legend and i am just crumbling now. Blizz Rigg giveth and it tooketh
Why would it do this. Which is more likely, you being biased when evaluating how lucky your opponents are getting, or the game for some reason forcing spanish players to lose more.
Saying this honestly, not trying to upset you but let’s be realistic.

No i am talking about taking a physical deck of cards and manipulate it. Not random shuffling.

Yes in this case I believe it takes 7 rifle shuffles for randomisation, which for an expert takes anywhere from 30s to over a minute to perform. A beginner would take several minutes.
Point being probably few people actually do the necessary amount of shuffling and so are likely playing biased decks.

I don’t believe you’re anywhere near bottom legend let alone top 50 legend. Your psychology yesterday when you were spamming all kinds of new threads with attacks in the forum was completely unhinged and for going top 50 you need stability.
PS most “it’s rigged!” people think they are the best player in the world because they can’t believe the simplicity of MMR is enough (high MMR = just better opponents) so they can’t believe an opponent can possibly be better than them.

To be fair, top50 sounds really really high until you remember we’re 7th of Jan and they were top 50 Americas around the 4th/5th. It’s good but not necessarily a top1000 player, just an early pusher. Maybe they are top1000 consistently tho, not saying the opposite.
