hi i just played versus a zarimi priest and he has does zarimi + ceaseless expanse and he killed me for 30 dmg in one turn
, then i played a warrior and i was unable to summon minion all the game due to ceaseless expanse hitting board turn after turn due to the photo .
this card is overplayed and over exploited to the fact that there is not real answers in front of it because it act like a clean each turn and every deck that is using this strategy is abusing it .
can we have a minion board combat style game and not a minion clearing game ?
THANK YOU !

The nerf is easy. All cards that are discounted by some effect need to reset counter when put back to hand/generated.
So each such a card has its own counter for cheapening effects.

So basically you were playing decks that Ceaseless Expanse can target farm.

I mean… they’re talking about Zarimi Priest. The list of decks that it doesn’t farm is quite short. You usually either play hyper aggro and get under its curve, or die.

It has a very nusty early game because it can ramp the board fast. It’s one dimensional at needing a board so it would be bad if every opponent had a lot of AOE.
I’m getting ideas to make a heavily AOE-based paladin since after the Reno nerf people start getting a lot of ideas with not caring about AOE.
But it might still be bad, because you’ll still need a win condition further than that.
with the current meta the only answers for such stuff is kill fast. So you want to play something that can do that consistently. there are minion fast kill decks that have been preforming well like Swarm Shaman for 1 example.
Best reply, why is this not the case yet ?! Seems so bloody obvious, it does with almost everything else that has been discounted. It not just destroys minions it also neutralizes any deathrattle, so byebye starship you have been building for over half the game with bunch of deathrattle effect. At least with what you suggested it can only happen once and you could play somewhat around it.
