Caverns of Time cards not progressing collection

So I opened Confessor Paletress which should have completed my TGT Priest collection achievement, but it didn’t.

On top of this, when I search missing in the Caverns of Time set, it does not say I am missing Aya Blackpaw, but nor is she there when I look through my Caverns of Time collection. I have the old one, so I am guessing that’s what going on, but then why aren’t Caverns of Times legendaries counting for collection progress if old cards count for the Caverns of Time collection? This is blatant hypocrisy.

I hope this is an error, and not purposeful to try and milk more pennies out of completionists.

They clearly advertised that cards of CoT are different versions of the cards counting for their own set
And yes for some reason cards don’t even appear as existing in the game when you browse CoT collection if you already have th eoriginal ones

The cards are the same and you can’t have more than 2 copies of them even when you put them in from different sets. It’s just like with the core set, which has actually counted for my other achievements. I do not own The Black Knight, but my classic collection is complete. I don’t see why this shouldn’t apply to Caverns of Time cards.

My guess is that because you cannot buy Core cards but you can buy caverns of time cards, so they can make you spend more money, because HS is not expensive enough…

have you ever played before core set and reward tracks existed ?

Yes, but I am positive I never had Black Knight, because I stopped buying classic packs when I had everything I needed and Black Knight was not one of those cards. And I’ve never really been one to disenchant cards unless I could get a dust refund on it or if it was a bad golden card and I needed dust, and I am extra positive I’ve never had a golden Black Knight.

So I made a bug report on it, though like IceFrozen said, this could be intentional, in which case none of the staff will ever probably respond to this bug report and we’ll just have to continue to be disappointed in Blizzard’s practices.

This is all super confusing.
I opened a Tuskarr Totemic in a caverns of wild pack some days ago.
Just now I open a Grand Tournament pack I got from the event and it had two Tuskarr Totemics in there. Now everywhere I look in my collection says that I own 2 of them…

I do not own The Black Knight, but my classic collection is complete.

Either you’re bugged or I am–I had to own the actual legacy/classic version of the black knight to complete the collection. Core version did not count for me.
