Cariel's Emotes Aren't Working In the Book of Mercenaries

I didn’t have time to get around to Cariel (and later) Book of Mercenaries chapters until now. Only the Challenge 1 version of Cariel can emote and be responded to by the boss. I’m on the 7th challenge now and in every single challenge from 2-7 I can’t emote/be responded to. I think that this may have happened a while ago with one or two challenges for Book of Heroes/Mercenaries characters, but I’ve never seen it happen for the vast majority of a character’s story before.

I know that very few people are likely to care about this compared to other bugs that need to be fixed, but when possible, could you please check to make sure that all of the Book of Heroes/Mercenaries emotes and responses are working properly? It’s always nice to hear all of the variously amusing lines that were made for each boss.

Yeah, it used to work but broke after some update, which I’ve found out while replaying some BoM chapters. This particular story is not at all amusing, I would say, but I understand how the flavour is missing, especially for those who haven’t played it yet.

For now, you can find boss phrases in the wiki (fandom) and listen to them there as a somewhat ugly workaround.

Eame here is it not fixed and basically when you activate an emote from her, she only speaks in mouthing. Bring back the interaction between Cariel and the enemy again. I miss it.
