I played the pre-release brawl with Metamorphosis and now it’s gone. There’s other legendaries that are missing in my deck as well such as Alexstraza and Sylvannas Windrunner. There were more too!

So you didn’t notice a year ago when those cards just suddenly showed up in your collection, without ever being opened from a pack?
You can’t blame players for not being aware that cards just got removed from their collection when nothing indicates that change explicitely in-game

I just find it odd that so many players cry bloody murder when Core cards are removed, but they apparently took it for granted when those cards suddenly appeared in their collections.
you seem to forget that the game literaly throws a handful of cards to your face when you start playing the game
The animation literally is to flood your screen with free cards
And again
Nothing in the game is telling you what the core set is and that some cards will one day disappear
You can compare that to the old basic set that was made to be permanently free, nothing more nowadays tells you that the core set is not permanently free
