Cards have disappeared from my collection. I had 2 pursuit of justice cards in my paladin deck. After the new release - they were “unplayable” until level 8 (which I don’t get) so I had to remove them from my deck but now they are gone from my collection. This also happened with mirror image in a mage deck but I was able to add the card in (I didn’t remove it from my deck first). I’m not sure if any other cards have disappeared, but I’m guessing it’s possible. I don’t think I should have to craft cards I already had. That deck in particular won’t work without them.

I got the same problem, i tried to craft them again but they keep unavailable and i even lost my dust !!!

Those were Core Cards. Those cards have been rotated out and are no longer available to play in Standard.
As these Core Cards were on loan, you lost access to them when Core Cards were rotated.
If you want to play with them again in Wild decks, you’ll need to craft them.

But you didn’t have Pursuit of Justice. There were several new cards in the Core Set that weren’t in any other set. Pursuit of Justice was one of them. If you want to use them, you’ll have to craft them in the Legacy Set.

I lost a few legendaries with the rotation aswell (Brightwing some of the Dragons etc.) and yes i owned crafted or packed them before the format change. I knew back than stuff like that is gonna happen and im gonna lose some cards. And u have no way of tracking it if u don’t want to write down every card u open or craft. Annoying as hell but no wonder the direction of the Company is clear for years now.

Same issue.
It appears that with the release of the expansion, some of my cards disappeared from my collection. For example, I had Coldarra Drake and it was in two of my mage decks, and now those decks are (29/30). When navigating to this card in my collection, it says I need to craft.
Similarly with my demon hunter deck, it is (26/30), it looks like Flesheating Ghoul and Ashtongue Battlelord are both bugged. It’s showing on the collection as they are in the deck (Deck Limit: 2). However in my actual decklist, they are grayed out as if I don’t own them.

Filter your set to “The Grand Tournament” and check to see if the Coldarra Drake that you opened from The Grand Tournament packs is there and report back here.
Filtered for Grand Tournament. A MASSIVE number of these cards are now missing from my collection. I’ve been playing since Goblins v. Gnomes, and I know that a great number of these cards were in many of my decks.
I understand that they are now just wild cards, but I would have thought any cards I previously owned were still in my collection?

another example , if i go in my collection and write Tess Greymane , i see the card full colors , if i press crafting button , i see Tess Greymane full colors … that mean i own the original copy , if i right click while crafting i see “The withcwood” as set , if i return to normal collection mode ( not in crafting mode ) i see Tess Greymane “Core” set.
but if go in my collection and write Reno Jackson , i see the card full colors , if i press crafting button , i see Reno Jackson on grey shaded colors … that mean i DONT own the original copy , if i right click while crafting i see “The League of Explorers” as set for the grey shaded color card i DONT own , if i return to normal collection mode ( not in crafting mode ) i see full colors Reno Jackson “Core” set .
in an unknow date in 2023 , my Tess Greymane will remain for wild , my Reno will go away.
My decks are now showing 26/30 for demon hunter and 28/30 shaman and 28/30 priest. The cards are gone. I am able to craft them again, but I was given no dust, no cards were placed into any other spots like normal. I have been playing since beta, so I understand the rotation or deleting every now and then, but this has never happened before. Blizzard you asked in your video if there were things you could help us with…well here they are.

Follow-up: do you ever use the Mass Disenchant button? I wonder, if you owned TGT coldarra drakes and did mass disenchant with core coldarra drakes in your collection, perhaps it deemed the TGT ones “duplicate copies”? Maybe a stretch, but it’s a theory.
Of course it hasn’t, this is the first time core has rotated. Lots of people are going to wrongly assume they get to keep all the Core cards they had before, so in order to find any real bugs it’s important to be thorough with your report. If you say “i have 28/30 in my deck” it’s not going to be clear what the bug is because the most direct explanation is those 2 cards were Core cards that got removed. So if you could provide details of which cards were removed, and an estimate of when you opened or crafted those cards, it might solve the problem faster.
I have used Mass Disenchant before, it’s an interesting point. And a serious bummer if that’s what happened (obviously not confirmed). But I remember crafting these cards for decks years ago when TGT came out, at least so far as the Coldarra Drakes go. Also, if memory serves, TGT wasn’t “core” when it came out? Meaning cards weren’t automatically “loaned” to us at any point, so my assumption is that if I ever played with these cards in the past (which I had), then they should’ve been in my collection.
The two cards I mentioned above (Ghoul / Ashtongue) in my DH deck are a strange case, because they show up in my collection, but are grayed out in the wild decks as if I don’t own them.
Not technically true for all cards, there was an event called Doom in the Tomb that loaned free copies of 23 wild format cards and let you use them in the Standard format. However, Coldarra Drake wasn’t a part of that event.
This happened to me as well. I spent the dust to craft Coldarra Drake for a deck of mine and both of them disappeared. I had to spend 800 more dust to re-craft the cards to refill that mage deck.

No, because they’re a different set. If you owned both TGT Drakes and the Core Set, it still would list as “x2” in your collection. Mass Disenchant only dusts copies over the limit.
