Card draw is to cheap

Remember back in the day when there was only like 3 cards that drew anything cheaply… Yeah … Now its all draw your deck by the 7th turn … 0 board control… FACE OTK

It’s not just cheap, it’s essentially free. Just saw a Rogue draw his entire deck on turn 6.

Given that Draw a card is the most powerful keyword in HS, I am really doubting their competence to develop a game that has some sort of balance.

Especially these last few expansions where the match is decided solely on who draw better (who has the right cards at right time amd who does not).

Abundance and cheap cost of draw for great effect paired with poweful synergy with simplified power turns is what makes this game kinda autopilot and immensively boring to watch, let alone to play.

Agreed; it’s why so many of us want to return to metas/design/cards where thinking, choosing what to keep vs throw in the mull, deckbuilding, and actually playing all mattered, and didn’t feel like they could be rendered useless by 1 turn or topdeck. This is definitely the least impactful it’s felt to play both formats in a while, and altho I still like the game and am having fun, I’m seeing a bit too much power creep on the burst and combo of Classic HS, but with no Taunt/designs to keep it from becoming too much. Feel like they recklessly printed these cards (Questlines, Skull, Kayn) and didn’t realize just how problematic they’d be to balance. Not really an excuse when so many ppl pay and play this game. They should be doing more testing before releasing expansions and worrying about bundle deals and all that nonsense.

At some point, Blizzard felt like if a class’s identity was “card draw”, it was fine to give them huge amounts of card draw. So Mage has like 5 different super efficient card draw cards, demon hunter has like 8, rogue has 6, warlock has 4 on top of it’s hero power.

Remember when you could run out of cards instead of mana…

Once upon a time rogues prep/sprint for 4 mana draw 4…today its laughable. Just like this meta.

Play Hunter.
In Standard there are 2 direct draw cards and 2 conditional ones.
Add Discover, and 4 of these 8 cards discover from your deck - three conditional and one unrestricted (Tracking). The other create cards from the Nether.

Rexar has a lot - of conditions. It was much worse in the past and currently is okay, but I’m often light on cards or still have to play whatever I topdeck. Probably not gonna see the bottom 10 cards of my deck like, ever.
Yeah, Face Hunter is currently leading the meta, but I still miss my Midrange Beast /DR decks.

Rogue is not a problem man cuz the class were all about draw as fast as possible with synergy between the cheap spells and 2-3 mana LOW stats minions with effects since almost HS game release… its just a vibe of the class, but the others nowadays do the same + have no penalty + mass healing + mass armors + mass strong minions + AoE spells to clear the board at once + taunts…

PS: Rogue were dead in most games since 7-8th turn at least if they dont finish the enemy, they lose to the no healing/armor/board clear abbility… and only the cloak of invisibility can save her nowadays in prolonging games…
