So there’s an interaction in wild that essentially gives you infinite taunts, and makes your hero completely immune from board damage.
Valen, leader of the exiled replay’s all Battlecries and Deathrattles. There’s a 4 cost minion called Saronite Chain Gang which has a battlecry “summon a copy of this”.
So if you happen to have Valen on turn 7, than no matter what your opponent will do, every single time Valen is killed, it will just respawn a new one. The only way to get around it is to silence it. And if you’re deck has no silence than it’s gg, unless you’ve got 30+ dmg in spells that goes face, providing you can sustain all the dmg you take to your face.
IT’s a shame that Blizzard doesn’t care about wild and does very little to prevent toxic card combo’s like this from existing when new expansions come out.

and why wouldnt you run silence ? deathrattles effects are extremely common in wild

There’s already been infinite taunt minions through other means as well. This isn’t anything new.
You can do infinite taunt, infinite armor, infinite heal, whatever you want. You just never see them because they are bad.
For example, the Undatakah, Prelate, Recruit infinite taunt has been around since those all came out.
The reason it’s not good is because mind control, silence, reno, morph exists, etc all exist.
Pretty much auto lose vs Shaman since they run multiple morph effects. Auto lose to any non-aggro Priest. It’s just so incredibly hard to do and catch your opponent with no counter.

that would be dope to have as a option.
I can not play the game anymore. I get to a certain level and then every single guy is using this card combo and it is impossible.
Hmmm, if only there was some way to silence Velen or remove it off the board… I bet nothing like that exists in wild.

Nah, for this combo you gotta transform Velen, not remove or silence. And do it before they kill him themself!

And this is why I use Valen as a tool to waste my opponents counter cards. They get distracted with trying to remove Valen and waste a Reno or silence option that they should have saved for bigger problems later in the game.
Everything is so easy when youre among the elite, huh?
I suppose you gonna steal the saronite chain gang too, or better yet.

I’m not elite and I didn’t comment on the efficacy or difficulty of any give counter, simple noting that there are ways to steal minions that would end this if done correctly.
In case you’re not following, people are giving the op ideas about ways to break this interaction that don’t include nerfing cards. This is a problem in wild, and it’s very unlikely that they will do anything about it at this point. Learning to play around it is the best option.
I don’t, but we already had this discussion about the interaction with velen before it ever dropped. We talked about all the counters and that’s why it’s being shared. No one had mentioned something like using bob or mind control tech to steal the thing, so I added to the actual discussion without attacking other posters.

You mentioned nothing about needing to also have played a chain gang for stealing to be effective.
Facts are you set op up for failure by omitting that crucial detail.

Personally i ran devolve in every deck, but i was also a shaman main.
If you steal it without having the chain gang battlecry in your pool itll just be a vanilla 7/7 taunt that does nothing when it dies.
Stealing without having access to the combo yourself can set you up for bad times in wild.
astral vigilant can give them copies of Velen too
Its just crazy to me how much time and effort youll put into defending your ego in comparison to how little goes into actually trying to improve another players experience.
