MacBook Pro with M1 player here, can’t get in the game lobby for weeks, every time I launch the game it will only appear a weird orange-yellow square on my screen. This issue has occurred for weeks, and the devs seem to just ignore the problem. Please fix this bug asap.
hi i have the same problem can u fix it ??
Hearthstone displays a black screen but sound is working: Playing on MacBookPro-2021 with updated MacOS Sonoma. Immediately after the 30.2 update Hearthstone starts up without visuals. There is a flash of the tavern welcome screen then everything goes black, the audio plays fine, but none of the buttons (bottom-left & -right) are active. I have to use Cmd-Q to quit the app. Have repaired, uninstalled both HS & battle.net repeatedly, & even deleted the .plist file in my system library to no effect… This happened once before several months ago & I thought it was resolved. At that time it was thought to be a Mac-specific glitch.
I had this same problem and was able to fix it by turning off Game Mode. I ran Hearthstone, it went full screen and all black. I then pressed Control+Left arrow to move back to the primary space where I could access the menu bar. I click the game controller icon in the menu bar and click Turn Game Mode Off. Then I press Control+Right arrow to return to Hearthstone, then Command+Q to quit Hearthstone. The next time I ran the app it started up correctly.
