Cant install the game

So i uninstalled the game some weeks ago, and im trying to install again.
I installed battle.net, but when i hover the link to instal hearthstone, i get the message
“this game cannot be installed yet”
i can install any other game, except for hearthstone

Got the same problem. However i already had the game installed but now instead of the play button i got a grayed out install button that says that i cannot install the game yet.

My mate is having the same problem right now. We were just talking about the game, he went to install it and can’t. Gets the same popup message as you under the install button when he tries.

same. earlier today i was able to download it. But its nice knowing other people are having problems. It might be a hotfix for battlenet

So weird. I’m also having the same issue. I was trying to reinstall Hearthstone to fix a Mercenaries bug. Grrr…

I’ve been trying to setup Hearthstone on a new computer and Battle.net won’t let me install it.

I had no idea this is a new thing that is occurring exactly now.

I just today picked up a brand new gaming computer with a 5070 and a 240HZ monitor and was very excited to play some APM. Of all the times for some kind of weird outage.

My situation is a bit niche, but, I was able to copy the Hearthstone folder from my old PC to a flash drive (C:\Program Files (x86)\Hearthstone) then copy it to that same location on my new computer. I then reinstalled battle.net and chose to locate the installed game and pointed it to the newly copied folder and it worked.

I’m having the same issue. Reinstalled battle.net app after a few years of not playing and I can’t install the game. Install is greyed out and says “This game cannot be installed yet”

i have same issue on brand new macbook m4 air. i tried everything. cant find solution yet.

This. I have it downloaded on my external hard drive, so normally I just locate the game file. It let me with Diablo 3 and 4, but the option is absent for Hearthsone. Reopening Battle.net did not help.

I maybe fixed installing Hearthstone but it caused Battle.net to initially crash. I clicked the Battle.net symbol in the top left, selected settings, the top option in the drop down, selected Downloads, the second in this menu, and hit scan for games, the first button underneath. Missing a game? Locate. Found Hearthstone. It made the launcher crash. Now it’s allegedly updating, but it’s taking way longer than it should. So Idk if this is surefire. It just really does not want to recognize my H
earthstone install I was playing just last night.

Had the game installed, but it was stuck on the “Initializing” during update, Uninstalled it and have the greyed out button.

Pretty sure these problems are connected.

Same exact issue here. “This game cannot be installed yet”

Have done a lot of troubleshooting.

  1. Restarted computer
  2. Cleared Blizzard Entertainment Cache
  3. Uninstalled + Reinstalled the battle.net launcher (twice)
  4. Other games can install
  5. Fully turned off computer, waited, turned it back on.
  6. Killed all the active battle.net processes through task manager.
  7. Did all of these tasks in a wide process order
