Can’t exit battleground game

I queued a game with a friend. Got defeated and when the character should explode it simply got stuck.

I tried to concede, it did nothing.
I closed Hearthstone and started it again and got reconnected to the game where I’m already dead.
Tried to concede again and again nothing has happened.
Also tried it with logging out of Battle.Net completely.

Meanwhile the match of my friend did not start either, the rope appeared and burnt down but instead of going to the fight it froze.
He could concede and was back in the main menu.

More players have left, I assume because of conceding since the fight history does not show anything by the players.

But two players are still remaining in the game that seems not to end.

I don’t know how to proceed further and get my Hearthstone to work normal (not reconnect me to a game where I can’t do anything).

Help would be appreciated :slight_smile:

That same bug happened to me too. Every time it just reconnects to BG match after I restarted the client…

Did you guys ever get out of your games? I’ve been stuck by myself in one for 20 minutes. The concede button doesn’t work, neither does rellogging. It just puts me back in the game everytime.

Bumping this thread because I’m having the same issue. Not sure what the problem is because I’ve tried closing and re-opening, logging and relogging, etc. Nothing seems to work. Got beat and the game is stuck on the screen where your character explodes.

I’m having the same issue. I’ve tried:

  • quitting & starting Hearthstone again
  • quitting and starting the game on another device (mobile)
  • quitting, logging out, logging in and restarting
  • clicking the “concede” button

None of the above work. Every time I boot up the game again, I get greeted by “you were disconnected from your last game. resuming…” and taken to the same battlegrounds match. This has been the case for the past hour. Was there any outcome in any of your cases?

I’m having the same issue. Just stuck in the game and can’t exit. WTF?

FIX! Uninstall and reinstall. Won’s lose any progress and you can get back to being a dirty priest or whatever you play.

Got this bug last week, I managed to get out of by exiting and waiting around the time one game usually lasts (20-30mins)
